I'd go along with the others on the thread who've suggested it was a single guy messing you about.
It happened to me quite a few times shortly after joining the site, but I recognise the tell-tale signs now. |

Yes, very common. Most are easy to spot but the odd one is convincing and can seriously waste you a lot if time. It's annoying when you see them return on a new profile but always showing tell tale similarities. You some other unfortunates are going to be led on and possibly suffer abuse. I won't mention specific examples. As annoyingly fab gets all user about this and so the problem continues. |

There are a huge number of time waster/fakers/dreamers/wannabes on here and other sites who use every excuse when push comes to shove to avoid showing out who they really are -
The scenario you have outlined is one, to which we add:
Can't talk on phone as it is out of charge/broken/out of signal range/eaten by the dog
Can't meet because husband has changed his mind about me playing
Aunt/uncle/father/brother/husband/wife/hamster has died/is ill/in hospital
Can't send face photos as the phone/computer/camera won't work or has been eaten by the hamster/dog
Can't Skype as I Skype family/the dog/e hamster on my Skype account (omitting to think about simply creating another one... In the name of the dog/hamster/deceased uncle/aunt/etc etc)
It is why verifications are important if you cross check them and be very suspicious of people who have been on here for a long time (shall we say a year?) and have no verifications but profess to be active swingers - presumably they swing with people who have no computer/the computer died/the dog ate it
I am not bitter just fed up with having my genuine motivation and commitment messed about. Thankfully I do know a very genuine couple on here who do exist, and what is more they do not have a dog or hamster to eat the phone or computer and I checked - close relatives are all in rude health and unlikely to shuffle off suddenly.

I guess that's why the site rules don't allow you to give details about private messages. It's only half the tale and serves no purpose other than to cause unnecessary arguments.
If someone blocks you it's a sure sign they no longer want to meet you, so better off forgetting it and move on. |

On the single guys pretending to be couples issue I can't see it at all. You'd get LESS meets with single women as an attached male, which is why a lot of attached males have single guy profiles...so really can't see why people would do it. Well, unless it's to get on friends lists and thrap over peoples pics with no inclination at all to actually meet, maybe that's it. |
