Personally being a tv/ts, even just a normal meet, it's dangerous meeting a faceless person, what if they plan to murder you? Even if the police hacked into ur phone or laptop, they wouldn't have an idea of who it is. I need a face pic also for safety reasons other than seeing if they my type or not, i am very discreet as I sure nearly everyone is on here. |

We don't send face pics on fab for privacy. Ever. We don't have then on our friends pics and we don't have them private.
We do, however, send them over kik or Skype. If people don't like it, they don't meet us. But we would never meet without seeing the other person's face, however they choose to send us a pic of it.

Well we used to have face pics on but when the kids got to know about the site they advised us to take them off, they said it was the most insecure site they had ever seen and said anyone that doesn't want to be identified should not put pics on , and I mean in private or friends x as its so easy for anyone with a little web knoledge to get into a profile, so we took there advice and we still get meets and party invites and the worry of people around us knowing has gone, as we also run a business here, kids are 20 and 24 by the way x |

I must confess I a little surprised your kids know, regardless of age. Nonetheless it is your choice.
As regards people 'getting into your profile', it is highly unlikely. Of course there is a risk of you sending photos to someone and them either recognising you or distributing them but that's the risk we take.
My message to any single guy trying to get a meet without a face photo is to just give up now. You have to respect people want to see what you look like

Thank you, a dose of common sense at last. Like any site like this nowdays and I don't single out fab in particular you need to worry about scam artists. They want your face pic, they want your mobile number. They want you to contact them via cam, skype,kik or whatsapp so they can access your mobile, laptop or pc. Meet in a safe public place during the day, its the only way to be sure. |

Guess you dont realise there are now identity fraud hackers for kik, not only can they hack the app, but can even access the device you use it on via it, it's really quite clever how they do it too, so now it's even less secure than other apps including Whatsapp that requires exchanging numbers. I've seen it a few times through my day job. Just thought you like to know since privacy is so vital for you.
From a psychology POV people that work harder to hide are the ones that the sick individuals that want to "out" people work harder to catch out, as they see them as having more to lose by being outed. I'm not saying we should all have our faces on show because of this, after all that's down to personal choice, but it's a perspective most wouldn't consider. |

I don't really care if someone breaks into my kik, to be honest. I just don't want my picture, my face picture, to be on the same computer screen as a giant logo for fabswingers.com. I understand if people don't want to meet because of it. But it is how we go about protecting ourselves. I prefer Skype anyway.

I need a face pic also for safety reasons other than seeing if they my type or not, i am very discreet as I sure nearly everyone is on here.

"We don't send face pics on fab for privacy. Ever. We don't have then on our friends pics and we don't have them private.
We do, however, send them over kik or Skype. If people don't like it, they don't meet us. But we would never meet without seeing the other person's face, however they choose to send us a pic of it.

+1 I would never put a face pic on here not for £50,000. I can't put my pics on here because of my job etc ... these are genuine reasons. The amount of couples and single women who have no face pictures or their eyes blurred out are high. I always show a face pic on Kik where there are no links to here.
Guess you dont realise there are now identity fraud hackers for kik, not only can they hack the app, but can even access the device you use it on via it, it's really quite clever how they do it too, so now it's even less secure than other apps including Whatsapp that requires exchanging numbers. I've seen it a few times through my day job. Just thought you like to know since privacy is so vital for you.
From a psychology POV people that work harder to hide are the ones that the sick individuals that want to "out" people work harder to catch out, as they see them as having more to lose by being outed. I'm not saying we should all have our faces on show because of this, after all that's down to personal choice, but it's a perspective most wouldn't consider.
I don't really care if someone breaks into my kik, to be honest. I just don't want my picture, my face picture, to be on the same computer screen as a giant logo for fabswingers.com. I understand if people don't want to meet because of it. But it is how we go about protecting ourselves. I prefer Skype anyway.

That's fair enough as I said personal choice but please be careful of kik it's really clever and sneaky what they do IMHO kik needs shutting down! And I will no longer use it myself |
