Please excuse the vulgar topic heading but we are curious as to what percentage of you sexy peeps are happy to play locally to those who like to keep things more discreet and travel further afield?? Also what are your reasons for doing so?

Normally I aim for local, as I'm single its not causing any issues, but for a few certain people I will travel alot further  |

We played at Libs last year and we're off to Xtasia on Saturday neither of which are that far from us and I must admit that there is a part of both of us which is a little worried about seeing a work colleague or family member.  |

Guess I'd prefer to play a little way from my doorstep, reasons of less likely to bump into next door neighbour, family, friends, work mates etc. But not so far aware that if we got on couldn't have something a little regular, if that's what both parties wanted. Especially as I'd prefer a social first, just so everyone was happy. |

We are happy playing locally , never had a problem . We see plenty of people we have played with in our local town , just a nod .
It's like fight club , and we have not encountered anything negative  |

We are not originally from the UK, so the chances of seeing people we know are very limited (family is all back in the US). Plus, Leeds is a relatively large city, so again our chances are lowered.
It is also about convenience. We will travel for clubs, or even for the right people. But we are a lot more hesitant now to travel far when we don't know the people because it's not worth the hassle if a meet is disappointing.

We tend to travel more simply because we try to be super discreet. Personally we couldn't bare the idea of work and family getting wind of our extra curricular activities and it also makes it more of an adventure in our eyes when we do get away to play. |

Correct, but by descreet we meant keeping our personal life well removed and as far from anything that could come close to every day life.
For us walking into a local club to find people we know from our everyday life would be devastating. We understand they would be there for the same reasons as us but as the saying goes "Loose lips sink ships" and not every one can be trusted... |

We always went for meets away from our local area so no chance of them knowing us. We changed this recently as the travel was driving us nuts, only to meet up with someone who turned out he works in a building next to ours luckily he's great and turned into our FB so worked out well in the end but we're back to preferring further away meets.

Apologies we can see how that may have been slightly misinterpreted and maybe rephraseing the post might make the question a tad clearer.
We were not trying to insinuate that those that play locally were less descreet, more so that we felt ourselves and possibly others might feel they are being extra cautious by keeping things at arms length so to say. This may not even be why people choose to travel.
Also we were interested in the diverse opinions on why people choose to navigate the lifestyle this way.
As always there's no right or wrong way of doing things just personal opinions.

If I bump into someone, I know, they're there for the same reasons, as I am. Or they work for Sydney Uni 
I've travelled to Chams, In the past and run into, an old family friend. So, I don't see that distance buys us anymore discretion. |

As we say, we do not shit on our own doorstep, we have a club local but would never go there.... We do play with local people but when we are 100% comfortable with who we are meeting .. You could walk into a local club and it be full of all your long lost friends or ex work mates ... Not something we want !! |

Agreed!! We tend to mix in lage social circles due to work and normal life so we find that keeping things away from home suits us. |

Most of my meets take place within a 10-15 mile radius. I have travelled upto 60 miles away but this doesn't happen very often. The closest I play is about a mile or a ten minute walk across the fields.
I can understand not wanting to bump into someone in your local shop etc. I work on the principle that we all prefer discretion, so it doesn't bother me if they are one mile or 100. |

We used to travel from our home in Aberdeen to a club in Glasgow and then discovered it was full of couples from Aberdeen doing the same thing.
Counter intuitively our feeling is that to avoid local's go to the local club  |

I work with clients who are NFA so they often see me in my local area. For that reason meets should be away from my area... A short bus ride and I feel safe |

We use xtasia which is a 20 minute drive from us
I've seen 2 work colleagues there and Mr has seen someone he knows as well
We always go with the thought that if we see anyone there we know, they are there for the same thing as we are, so generally nothing would be said to any none swingers as they would have to 'out' themselves as well so to speak |

I only meet locally as I prefer regular playmates who can "meet now" when the mood takes us. We can also arrive "shower fresh". |

I'm on the fence. So to speak.
I don't mind traveling for a meet.
But it's also nice to get local meets.
As a single male on here.
You have to go to were the fun people are.
I keep it discrete, home or away.
Up to now so have the people that I have had the pleasure to meet. |
