Would you go on Skype and take your knickers,boxers etc. after three bloody sentences?

I personally don't really go for the cam thing at all, but it sounds like you need to lower your expectations of those on the site.
Although there are loads of truly great folk on the site, if you expect the majority of blokes to be crass, demanding and just looking for a zero effort thrill, you are much less likely to be disappointed when they are.... you'll even be pleasantly surprised when some of the better guys come along.
Realistically, I expect an attractive lady like yourself to have no problem finding guys, it's just a matter of getting your filters right.

I tend not to use webcam or Skype. I do have kik and used to have whatsapp until it was bought out by facebook. Something else I don't do! Personally camming does nothing for me and I tend to ignore profiles if all their verifications are via webcam.
Much prefer to meet people, is that not what we are all here for? Or most of us anyway.
Sorry to hear of your experience op, but apart from verifying whether someone is male or female, I don't see the point. Just points to timewasters. |

Yes many men will.
Put a line in your profile saying that you won't Skype, Kik or WhatsApp and that you prefer all contact to be on here. It won't stop them asking but you can refer them to it if they whinge.
I find that the ones who want to swap lots of pics and sexts generally are busy wanking and once they've got their rocks off don't want to meet. I don't mind swapping stuff with people I've met but then it's sexy anticipation of the next meet for me as well. |

Maybe it sounds like that but I do not, want to see true reaction and answers, although I do not believe anybody until they prove themselves to me personally  you can't trust anybody these days  |

You need to sort your way of interacting with men out on here.
I don't webcam full stop & only skype if I'm due to meet the person or have met & we both are up for fun. Wank fodder springs to mind otherwise!
Message and get to know someone a little better 1st & that should help.

I've never done the cam thing either on Skype or in the chatroom. It's not my thing at all. I used to do it once in a blue moon on another site but usually for an occasion with the rest of the chat ops. I feel like a dick on cam.
I certainly wouldn't be showing my bits off via cam... there are way too many chins and spare tyres to hold in. 
I guess you gotta find a way that works for you. After this mornings chat in the forums it really is clear that we all have all sorts of methods that work for us. |

Nope. Cybersex doesn't do anything for me. I wouldn't even entertain the idea, as I prefer the real thing in the flesh.
Some guys are only after a cheap thrill, whereas I want real meets. Thus I keep it above board, but with a hint of flirtiness without being too vulgar. |

I tend to stick to the forums initially. ..you can get a better feel for the person on a random subject and how they interact with others...rather than some who should probably have some personal time before they start messaging. You can work out if you have other points of commonality and things to talk about...unless you want a social where the guy keeps looking at his watch, timing how long before you drop your knickers haha |

I've had this too a few times so always refuse to Skype. I go in chatrooms but I like to be in control and lead the way.
It usually ends up with me being gawped at and they move the cam up to their face..
I just find it a turn off when youre expecting a bit of flirting..the rest is extra |

OK my personal opinion is if I have set up a Skype chat for fun then maybe I would be cheeky and ask for some flashing that early on , but if it was a get to know you chat skype I would be dressed chilled and cam at my face not my nether regions .
Not all people can distinguish between naughty skypes and a god get to know you chat . |

It's hard but unfortunately it's how sites like this work and with men in the majority. You will find you get a lot of arseholes. But there's a saying (if there isn't I'm saying it anyway because it sounds clever) you have to look through a lot of pebbles before you find a gem. So good luck with what you're looking for! |

Block single men and search for yourself. We recommend this to many of our single female friends, it stops the flood gates opening
If you're only looking for real meets, why Skype anyway? The Web cam wankers are only looking to get off, you can either accept that it's purely instant gratification and you're not going to be woo'd or don't interact that way..
And seeing as you only meet with your partner, get a couples profile, that may cut down on some of the traffic
Other than that, I'm sorry you're having a bad experience, it is a bit of a jungle in here for single females... |
