Male body hair - honesty please

Hi,

I'm new so please be patient or understanding if this is a well worn question.

So what's the desired and/or acceptable amount of body hair for a man?

Obviously hairless down below seems to be far more preferable to nearly everyone, I dig that... Done!

But I'm a hairy guy. Some of it I hate and am waxed regularly on my back and shoulders. I'm thinking more tummy and chest here, I'm quite attached to my love rug, I'm willing to go through a ton of pain to remove it regularly... I know it hurts, don't try and convince me it doesn't.

I'm wondering if it'd be acceptable to be bald down below, but keep a well trimmed, short, neat triangle above my bits and pieces. With a waxed back and shoulders and short CLIPPERED love rug???

I know it's down to me at the end of the day, if I want to go bald, groomed or wild thing, I'm just after some opinions.

Thanks for any help

What do you like?

I like hair on one of my partners, I like no hair on the other one.

You will NEVER appeal to everyone. Start with that premise stick with what YOU like and you'll find playmates that like you.

Don't try to be all things to all men, you can't.

Have fun!

This

A person comfortable in their own skin is always more attractive.

Personally I prefer men to have whatever hair is natural to them. Though hairless isn't in any way a deal breaker.

I think most people are pretty flexible. I love body hair, but I man I met with last week removes all of his and he was still beautiful. He does it for himself because that's how he likes it. Do what you are comfortable with.

I am more hirsute than some and less hirsute than others. I will appeal to some and not to others. I am who I am. I could shave or wax, but I am perfectly happy as I am, I'm certainly not vain in any way and personally not worried what others think.

I do avoid messaging those profiles that say they don't wish to meet hairy men.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I don't like my hairy shoulders, or to a lesser extent back, but I'm not waxing it all off every x weeks just to please some potential partners and at the risk of displeasing some existing ones.

Plus, where do you draw the line? Literally, do you end up with a sudden stop half way up your arm?

I don't like hairy backs, but chest hair is absolutely fine with me

OP Would you shave you head if all the women on this thread said they liked bald heads? Then panic and grow it back if the next lot says they didn't?

Point is you can never appeal to everyone.

So do what you like to do! It's your body!

South East Midlands NOT

I prefer a man to remain au naturel. Clippered hair is spikey. Yuck. Trimmed on the meat and 2 veg is fine...super long pubic hair can be a little off-putting as it can be like dental floss. But otherwise...leave your hair alone! Just my opinion.

Notts

Pleasing to read some very mature and sensible answers on this thread (speaking as a guy with hairy legs and chest with other areas I keep trimmed or shaved) but my natural state never dissuaded any of my partners from sleeping with me.

That's what I was hoping for. I am happy in my own skin regardless of what anyone thinks of me. I was just being considerate to others and giving it some thought.

In a club for the first time, I think I'd stick with neat and tidy down below and short chest hair, not spiky, but neater than normal, make an effort.

I am pleased to read mature, kind, honest thoughts on it.

I'm impressed Also this isn't vanity, or an effort to appeal to the majority. It's all new to me, I was just testing the waters really.

Thank you all.

I (the male) wax my chest. Mrs likes it that way, but she doesn't mind a light bit of hair on a guy, and there is someone on our hotlist who has quite a hairy chest...so I suppose the answer is it suits some and not others.

My hubby is hirsute and I love it! I'm not a fan of the shaved meat and 2 veg... Personally speaking well groomed is more visually pleasing than a bald patch in the middle of an otherwise hairy body. IMHO
