So I've been messaging members on and off for about 7 weeks now - I haven't had any luck unfortunately!
I've written my profile in (decent enough) English, I have pics on the profile, friend only pics and private face pics.
So I'm thinking it's either my age or the intro messages I send.
What are your thoughts on 22 year old guys? or perhaps what kind of messages do you like to receive?

i find it interesting that you hit on age being the issue.... because age is the one thing that you can't control and leaves you blameless....
to be honest, your profile saying nothing about you, and says nothing about the type of people you are after (besides anyone anywhere)
it is just a few phrases mashed together with soundbites which you think sounds good.... but is so generic it doesnt say anything....
but yep.. you keep thinking age is the only issue..... |

I appreciate the advice, I'm not thinking that's the only issue which is why I asked this; so I can improve which I will after reading the responses.
Though as you see the majority are age based lol |

You'll find some people reply some don't. It is age related most of the time but then you will find some ladies /guys (if you bat that way) enjoy a younger spirit to enjoy their time with.

Haha guess I will have to! I think also the first verification is (hopefully) the hardest to get? So maybe once I get that things will get slightly more active lol |

And rather than doing a blanket search for profiles use the advanced search feature to ensure your age isn't outside their preferences.
And even then? Just because YOU think you match what they're looking for doesn't mean THEY will feel the same. There's no settings that guarantee interest and attraction - so don't ever expect a reply.

As a younger couple (24) we've found a fair few profiles that we'd love to meet but our out of range on guess that's just their preference though! Sometimes we joke that we might have to wait a decade before the site really opens up for us haha! Just stick to it man, I was a single male on here and it worked for me, you just have to keep at it good luck! |

We've been on here since 21 and have never encountered being young as a problem.
On fab we've had people who's age range were outside of contact us, so not everyone's is set in stone.
Also going to clubs makes age become even less of a problem, when we've been in open rooms/beds there's never been a shortage of people joining in

I definitely found this when I went to Chams, had a whale of a time, chatted with everyone and genuinely felt like age didn't matter!
Online is strange for everyone though I think, especially for something like this where personality is so important! It can be difficult to put that across over pixels and fonts..
Go to socials and group events, you won't be the only one there, you won't be the only 'first timer' and you absolutely won't regret it! |

(Lady here) We actually met properly on here! Lived locally and kind of known each other years, happened to bump into each other on here and well.. Hes proof that there are some intelligent, handsome, charismatic and caring single males on here worth meeting! So.. age matters not guys! Lengthy well worded messages, face pictures and a bit of patience go a long way! Although leaving me begging for more probably had alot to do with it
Gotta dig through the dirt to find the diamonds

We're open to young guys, but we've found them to be unreliable. Maybe they expect people our age to not have wrinkles, or maybe they just don't know what they want, not sure. We've had lots of interest from young guys but never got to even the social stage yet, so we've upped our minimum age to 30 again. |

My preference i would not see a guy to have fun with younger than my son, who is over 18 an below 25 years old
its a personal thing i dont think its right for me an i wouldn't feel right some how |

I think you've updated it and I think it's pretty good now. The only thing I would say is take out the word "boring". It's not boring, it's interesting. For instance, I love hip hop too (yeah, it's been around a long time now). I hate to hear anyone denigrate themselves, be confident, be cool! |
