I spent 6 years of my life having to shave in the army and when I finally got out I decided I'm growing a beard and then got real pissed of when these asshole hipsters was all walking around with their bullshit facial accessories!!!! I hope the hipster beard fad dies down soon so real men can grow beards |

Yes. I don't care if it has been grown because it is "fashionable". I look at a guy and think "You look good" or "That really doesn't suit you", fashion doesn't even enter my mind.
Mine was grown before it became fashionable and I certainly won't be getting rid of it because strangers have decided they would like to grow (or try to grow) one too  |

I don't really buy into the 'before they were fashionable' argument, certainly to my mind beards came back into the 'mainstream' around 2004/5 so it's more of a cultural shift or sign of the times if you will, as opposed to a fashion statement
Much like the sideburns of the 70s or the moustaches of the 40s/50s |

Bit of a broad statement! None of the people we have played with in the last three years like facial hair on either partner! Mrs R hates it to the point that even what used to be called "Designer Stubble" would put her off! She likes a lot of snogging and the only time we have met someone with facial hair, it left her sore on her face!
But, the youngsters seem to want to have the "woodsman" look, I suppose they think it looks mature, but Mrs R just thinks they look silly!  |

Not gonna lie beards and tattoos make us both happy.... P sports a decent beard and is a proud owner of a handlebar mustache and plenty of tattoos. He gets called a hipster and gets abuse all the time but doesn't care he's happy with the way he looks  |
