It should be long enough to indicate what you want, what you have to offer, and convey an engaging impression of your character
If it's riddled with text-speak, lols, unnecessary exclamation marks, and the word "fun" repeated over and over, and the nonsense about Sydney University, then that's wasting space and words. |

I like read an interesting profile that's not too long. About half a page is good 
I don't like to read 3 page long profiles and ones that have SHOUTING and loads of dont's on it. |

I think the profile text can vary in length as from reading the forum topics and responses people post it gives you a fair indication of what the person is like also.
I do enjoy a good profile something that gives you a little information about the person and somethings to start a conversation with. |

Mine has been very long, very short and somewhere inbetween, makes no bloody difference really. Its your profile to run how you want and if its not working, try a little change. |

I guess having some information is better than none, though a massive list of wants and dislikes is sometimes akin to picking a new car with exactly the right trim...when the car you chance upon you can immediately really like, despite its idiosyncrasies.
I am not even sure any of that makes sense but hey-ho...
