We don't mind them as long as the person sending employs some common sense.
Winks from a single guy with nothing on the profile (like nice pics not cock) and a who doesn't match what we're looking for, we will usually block for not reading the profile, because to us it's being lazy.
A wink from someone who sparks our interest may get one back.
A wink from someone with face pics who there is an attraction to, with a good profile, some verifications and been on a while will definitely get a wink in return. |

I don't mind a wink, but yes there has to be a decent profile to back it up. I wink sometimes if I'm not sure the person will be interested in an older curvy lady. |

We have no issues with winks if the person who winks actually reads the profile, we state no single guys but still get winks from single guys, if we get wink from a couple then we look and communicate cos that's what we r looking for |

"Never understood people who complain about winks. It's hardly causing anyone any trouble, and can be an ice breaker " totally agree ,think them harmless ,shows interest can't see why people get upset unless someone constantly winks over and over this would be good reason to block them I expect there's a few pests out there |

I like winks. It is a good way of gauging interest. What I don't like is that people tend to wink us when they know they don't meet our requirements (usually because they are too old for us). That can be a bit annoying.

Agree. And if the winker's profile is crap then that's good too, as there's no need to do anything at all and no-one gets upset (like they can when a message isn't responded to). |

"We like winks. In fact we'd generally rather get a wink than a message."
Yes me too, it's then up to me whether I thank them for the wink and make contact rather than politely decline a message |

What a load of Winkers lol!! We like winks both sending & receiving, we however only send winks to people we would like to chat to or meet, or that we have something in common with. We've never understood why people wink & then ignore our return one or even just wink again, we have even had messages ignored from people who've winked us, makes you wonder why they bother. We've received hundreds of winks but never met anyone off the back of it, similary we have sent hundreds of winks but only met one couple (they did say in their profile they respond to winks), for us they are a pretty useless tool, nevertheless we like them & have no expectations of meeting people as a result. |

We always check out who's winked us, and if we feel there could be a possibility of mutual attraction, then we wink or message back.
When we send out winks, we like to think of them as a quick 'Hi, come look at us' kinda thing. |
