I tend to find it's visuals that make me go 'ew'. Since I tend to read profiles first before looking at pictures I may save myself having that many 'ew' moments. Recent pics is a bit roulettey sometimes but I find it amusing rather than icky. With the occasional 'phwoar' for good measure. |

Keep your standards high. I (the male half of the couple) have looked for single women to play with on here and the pretty ones obviously get a lot of attention, I've messaged about 6 so far. Two didn't reply, two answered to say they don't play with 'attached' men, and the other two were positive to start with but it petered out.
No way on Earth am I going to lower my standards just for the sake of it. At this moment in time I haven't slept with another woman other than my wife in 14 years, so I'm in no rush, I want the woman I play with to be a bit more special than most. |

Your standards are your standards, stick with them. What you like, others may not and vice versa, as in life there's bound to be someone on here who is a perfect match for you but the majority won't be!
The challenge, in my experience, is finding someone you like the look of who doesn't think 'ewww' when they look at your profile!

Think you will find from my past experience on here especially when I had no pics and one line on my profile that some people have no standards and will message anything with a pulse lol if you are lucky will tell you that you are gorgeous without seeing a pic   |

I think its different strokes for different folks. I have seen similar threads go down the route of, how women can be picky on here so women who are desperate in the streets finally get some hot studs on here and shouldn't they be so thankful for that and the morsels they get because they are not worthy in real life. I guess you're not going to change your existing standards, nor should you really. I have my own and I also see some "eeeeeyewww" pics. I just ignore and stick with the ones I do like. I do try to remember that there's a difference with seeing a static photo and the person in real life and also that we're all just ordinary people here and it's not a beauty parade. Not sure if that helps or if you are actually asking a question or merely making a statement. |

There's having standards and being outright pretentious. I find those who are less uptight about their looks are the best meets. For the most - meets concerned about their looks are concentrating on their looks throughout the meet, especially if they haven't met much. |

I don't think standards can be too high or too low - they're just your benchmark and personal to you.
I do chuckle at the threads constantly saying "I can't find what I'm looking for on Fab" as if by writing it down the situation will change!
If you can't find what you want there's likely to be two simple reasons.
1. What you want isn't here in the first place so maybe stop looking and seek other avenues where what you're looking for is more likely to be found.
2. What you're looking for isn't the slightest bit interested in you. So you're pretty much fucked.
