It's Friday, I've just finished work for the holidays, I'm sat here day dreaming. Anybody got a beautiful set of manly muscular arms that I could perve over? A muscular torso is of course yummy as long as it's not over the top but a big set of strong, protective, muscular arms will have me drooling every time. Particularly if they're tanned! Much appreciated and thank you in advance! xxx |

My lovely 'friend' on Fab has amazing arms, he doesn't do forums. Not sure if 'name and praise' is as frowned upon as 'name and shame', so he's sort of anonymous. |

Strength is a classically attractive quality in males, why wouldn't they?
...well, unless the guy was like a Gorilla or something, but Gorillas are cool too |

"Just out of curiosity SMP, how much do you bench?
Do you mean for reps or my for heaviest lift?
Both."
My PB on the Bench is 140k for a single lift, getting six plates was a big milestone for me. I try to keep my reps around the 6 - 10 range (depending whether it's a heavy or a light day) so I'm benching between 100 - 115k on the flat bench and I tend to burn down with incline so I take the weight down to between 80 - 90k for 10+ reps. |

Sounds great, I've always been a poor bencher but recently managed to get 105kg for 3, but a good solid three plates either side for a single is a goal I'm working toward too. |

Anything over 100k is a good bench mate! It took me a while to get to 6 plates but perseverance is the key. |

It amazes me in the gym just how rare it is to see guys who can do it, most seem to be around 80kg for reps, perhaps 90 for the stronger ones. Even a couple of Polish guys I saw, who both had great technique, seemed to peak at about 110. |

Depends what type of gym you go to I guess. I train at a heavily powerlifting influenced gym and 100kg is a warm up for a few guys. |

"Yep. He is just 5'10" and 16 stone. Very low body fat though.
He did a single on it last week.
16st low bod fat is pretty big mate!"
Yeah but I imagined guys who lifted that weight would be monsters.
Whilst we are on arms, I used to curl 90kg total on an Olympic bar for 3 reps. Not perfect form as it's hard to let that much down under control. But it was a curl.
Over the years, damage from rugby and the gym mean I now take it lighter. Now struggle to do 75 kg on the bar. Can hammer 40kg dumbells but they ain't pretty anymore |

If he is 16st low bod fat he would be a monster in bulking season.. 90kg is a massive curl! Im surprised you didn't pop your biceps!! Im a massive fan of high reps now i trained arms today i was using 22.5 dumbbells for hammer 30 reps. Try it mate you might be surprised with the results . |

It would kill me. I hate lactate. But I tend to do pure isolation work now. All lightish, in giant or drop sets and with no cheat at all.
I would do your mental workout but I don't train arms anymore. |

I've been experimenting with (fst 7) training its brilliant at hitting them stubborn muscles and really defining them. 7 sets 12 reps 15 seconds rest between sets. I've had my best results on the leg extension but it has me in tears by the end. |

Yeah mine is about 6 plates too...
Emptying the dishwasher. Tho sometimes I'll also add extra like the cereal bowls & some side plates. Tho I'm usually knackered & reward myself by sticking the kettle on, have a cuppa & a pack of chocolate Hob Nobs. Thought I'd share as we're all comparing.

"Women find mens arms sexy..??

based on the pics in this site, I think most guys consider cock is the sexiest part of their body.
Fit strong muscular arms and forearms and torso, to me is the main attraction.
Just measured my calf and thighs...you guys' biceps are as big as my thighs...wow..!..
Some lean slim-ish athletic guys can have beautifully peaked biceps too...love it. |

Yep shoes are important.
I also decided not to message someone on here due to dirty finger nails on a close up. Shallow perhaps, but I couldn't un-see it once I noticed it. |

I always need function over pure bulk. At 84 kg I am deadlifting 150 and legpress 400kg. I cant bench over 100 without a spotter due to an old injury...but I need speed, power, accuracy, suppleness and flow so its always a compromise. But I can do 4 finger chin ups for sets of 8.
And for guys that want a true anaerobic workout, try grappling with a guy with an 8 stone weight advantage while he is kneeling on your solar plexus and trying to choke you |
