There is definitely a noticeable majority and as other people have said, that is a reflection of society today.

Personally I do find curves sexy but everyone is entitled to their opinion so I hope you don't get too much flack for an honest statement.

Not me. I have always lived the fitness lifestyle and it comes natural for me and I always wanna improve my body if it is for muscle mass or get even more lower body percentage to 5%, currently 10%. Its a good life challenge to have

Why is it any business or worry of yours? You don't find overweight people attractive then just don't play with them, no need to make a forum post masking your disgust of overweight people as "concern" because you're not concerned at all. If you were you'd also find the amount of people who are underweight, drinkers, smokers and drug users a concern also but you didn't mention any of those

No offence taken , but here's the thing .

We have been in and off fab for over 4 years , and had different criteria each time .

First time , like yourselves , we had very set ideas in mind and stuck rigidly to them . It wasn't great , we blamed the site and the people on it for our own ' picky' standards .

Four years on , and after goodness only knows how much fun , we realise now that it's so much more than aesthetically pleasing playmates that float our boat . It's the vibe , the personality , the nature and sheer mindset as much as the body beautiful that works .

Of course there are still standards and attraction is imperative , but these are very flexible with the right people . And that's how we see swinging , meeting like minded people to explore fantasies , and to do so it is so much more than a fit guy or girl that will fulfill these desires .

And that's all we have to say about that

I trained the fittest humans on the planet for 4 years so if I said because you go to the gym 5 times a week and maybe run the odd 10k your not athletic would it cause offence.

My eldest daughter does

She's a health freak and works out all the time, she's 5ft 10 and a size 10 and toned to hell, she's got proper footballers legs

her BMI is about 34 which is border line obese there's now way any woman who's 5ft 10 and a size 10 is obese it clearly does not work for her

Well let's not mention that calling people overweight may hurt their feelings , but personally working in the weight loss industry and seeing how being overweight affects people's physical and mental health I've seen people die I've also seen the other side of the coin where they come off medication loss their walking aids and blossom in to happier healthier people . I'm not having a dig at anyone I was once 6 stone heavier than I am just now but take it from me I'm happier ! X

I do community nursing and go into the homes of a few obses people, peoples weight who has rendered them disabled, some have carers go in three or four times a day to help with washing toileting and dressing because they can't even use the toilet anymore

It's a problem when to that extreme and they need help, I have never gone into anybody like that who is happy I've seen some in tears about what they have let themselves become

But most over weight people are not to that extreme nor will they ever been, we make our own choices, like you i have lost a lot of weight and I'm also happier even though I still have a way to go but I can't push my _iews and experiences on others

Anyone that does hard manual labour will show as obese. I haven't been to a gym since I was 16. I don't need to, I get enough (non exercise)weight lifting at work and home. Many years ago, I went down to a size 10! Well great some might say but I have never felt like so not like myself!

Now, I am over the weight I should be now, I am a size 14 and you know what, that's me.

I feel comfortable with that size. I run, play football etc... And am happy... So don't worry about me, it's my body and no one gonna tell me which size I have to be to feel comfy in it.

Am French so hope this makes sense.

Many years ago, I went down to a size 10! Well great some might say but I have never felt like so not like myself!

Now, I am over the weight I should be now, I am a size 14 and you know what, that's me.

I feel comfortable with that size. I run, play football etc... And am happy... So don't worry about me, it's my body and no one gonna tell me which size I have to be to feel comfy in it.

I agree with the OP, I find it a tad worrying as well. I find it worrying that people seem to be happy causing their body all kinds of problems by being overweight. I can't fathom it and I'm far from a model, it's really not hard to watch what you eat and exercise every now and then- I eat a pizza a week, the occasional cheesecake etc and manage to stay in acceptable shape. We've become a nation of excuse-makers and blamers and when you point this out people get so angry. Baffles me.

The thing is you don't know a person's health by just looking at them. There are some of us who arnt overweight because of making the wrong choices. I may be a size 18 but I have a disease which causes weight gain and makes it extremely hard to lose. I go to the gym easily 5 times a week and can out run my slimmer friends. I eat very well and can't remember the last time I ate fast food. All of this combined with meds I'm on for life MAINTAINS my weight.

But if you were just looking at me and took a guess you'd never know I could run as far as I can, that I live in the gym and I eat better than anyone I know. You'd assume I sat on my ass eating pizza every day.

Frankly, I'd class myself as curvy in the sense it USED to mean. The only flat bit on me is my stomach and the rest is curves. But i can't use Curvy when i see what it means on this site so i totally understand what you mean.
