I have scars, and I'm not ashamed to say that they are from self harming and some from surgery too.
Doesn't bother me if people ask about them or if they have scars, people are who they are, don't apologise for that.

I have quite a large scar which I keep hidden, it's not because I'm ashamed of it, far from it because without that scar I wouldn't even be here........so in answer to your question no, scars or any other marks/lines wouldn't put me off

Nope. One of my meets had a scar down his face and was really good looking.
Maybe if someone had half their face missing it'd freak me out though. I used to be really scared to watch videos of that man who lost the middle of his face and eyes because of an infection, so i do think something like that would put me off. |

i spend all day at work patching people up, when I see a scare i tend to check out how neat the work is

After a serious motorcycle crash many years ago I spent 3 months in hospital and nearly 2 years learning to walk again. My body looked like a dog had chewed it.
Along with a very noticeable limp I was extremely sensitive about the scars. Luckily I met a really gorgeous girl who reassured me. I laughed when she explained that "chicks love scars".
Anyway years later the limp is gone and the scars faded & in truth apart from my silly embarrassment it has never proven to be an issue. |

Not a problem for me, an ex had a large scar across his chest and I always made sure I kissed it and I would run my fingers over the scar...
It was a part of him and he was lovely with his scar |

There's more people with hidden tattoos than bad scars and that doesn't seem to put anyone off so why would a scar or two? Don't we all have scars, birth marks, moles, freckles etc? |

early on in fab I had a meet there they'd said they wet wok with them before hand but the during the meet asked me to keep my shirt on because of them.
Made my excuses and left but it knocked my confidence for a while.

Most scars have a story behind them, I find it interesting to hear about them, if the other person doesn't mind talking about them.

I have a huge laperotomy scar and colostomy bag - I used to mention it, but I'm now at the stage that I've never known anyone mind, so I forget to mention it most of the time. I figure if a meet is at waist height and they are noticing my bag, I'm doing something wrong... |

I have always liked scars, they show that a person has a story to tell. That the person bearing them has overcome something. Major or minor. Very interesting and for me, it makes the person all the more sexy.
I'm hoping the feeling is on the whole mutual.. I'm covered in them. After having my pelvis put back together recently I now have 2 brand new ones, potentially at eye line.. Lol |

A person is more than a scar no matter how large. I'm pretty certain that the person with the scar is more aware of it than me when I meet them so I wouldn't make it worse for them. |

I have scars on my legs and tummy don't bother me
had a meet once who had a real nasty scar on his shoulder I kissed it and he cried he said nobody had done that before couldn't get rid of him then!!! |

This is all encouraging to me (him). I have some monster scars having had several back operations and a few knee operations. I also have one across my stomach which is about 16 inches long. They are part of me and who I am. |
