All I ask is that if you're not single, you are upfront about it so people can make a decision about whether they want to get involved or not. I don't care if people are cheating, why they are here is none of my business, I just don't want to play with them.

I don't judge others Us married men get torn to pieces for being on a sex site but married women on here are not frowned on - more do even welcomed. You don't the personal details of the situation. "These threads do make me chuckle every time they come along. For a lifestyle that is different from what would be described by many as 'normal' is so moralised. Many people on this site and others, whether a couple, single female or a single male always highlight that they want discretion. Is that because they don't want to be judged by the vanilla community? Which is what many do to the single, whether male or female. I just find some of the moralistic points of _iew hypocritical. Everyone is here for their own reasons, couples and singles." Just because people have different morals than what is considered "normal" doesn't mean they have no morals at all, or that they are hypocritical for having those morals. For example, we would all still say incest, bestiality, and pedophilia are wrong (I am NOT likening these things to cheating!! Just as an example of sexual norms we hopefully all have). That doesn't make us hypocrites simply because we are on this site. Having said that, I do think that it is up to each individual whether they are comfortable cheating on their spouse. It isn't my business because it isn't my relationship. But, I choose not to meet those people, for my own reasons. So as long as everyone is open here about their status, I don't see a problem with both sets of people getting what they want out of the site. -Courtney

I do and I say in my profile I do and I wasn't being funny just merely adding a perspective that may not have been considered I know you weren't being funny. I just thought it was odd the previous poster was concerned about that when in the same comment they claimed not to care about their situation. Seemd a bit contradictory, maybe its just me. Yes it might seem a bit contradictory ..but it's a public forum and I added my opinion. ..and talking of being contradictory the op has more than a touch of that ..wanting to be open and honest with strangers on here but not open and honest with his wife !! ..." It wasn't the OP that comment was about, it was another poster on the thread I believe.

"I'm Tina and I'm a cheating wife ! Is that what everyone wants people to say. It's always more complicated . I use to swing with hubby but he wanted to stop and asked me to too. I said ok but loved the scene so much I hooked up with my FB cpl I'd meet during time swinging with hubby and now I play secretly with them and others. " Your profile says you have your partners permission....

Just then a stone fell from the sky and killed the unfortunate lady to which Jesus looked skyward and said sometimes dad you piss me off! "I really do want to know why so many people just dont get divorced I was with my ex husband and there was no sex because of him, to me a relationship without sex is friendship so i ended it.. Yes things can be complicated with houses etc but they are just material possesions and life is so much happier now" Why do you want to know though? I never write any details about my situation on here because it's no one else's business and I don't have to justify myself to anyone. But rest assured (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) there's a lot more to it than that. Just because you took one course of action doesn't mean that's the right one for every other person who is in a vaguely similar situation.

Why should they be? as long as the person expresses them the correct way without insulting and questioning others etc there nothing wrong with expressing that opinion especially on a public forum

Because im curious, i can ask a question and people not respond to it thats entirely up to them. Ive had quite a lot of guys tell me that they wont divorce purely because finances are too messy and they dont want to upset their lives so thats who im more curious about. "Has this topic not been beaten to death ? We are here for sex and a escape from our hectic lives. If you can spend a few hours with someone and have fun. Why do people care what someone's marital status is? Maybe it's just me , but I don't ask a lot of questions. I just want you to show up , clean , look like your pictures and ready to have fun. I must be crazy." Would you say that with that attitude you are acting responsibly?

I really, really don't care about their partner. Perhaps it's because I'm in this situation and I know that none of the men I've met or will meet have had anything to do with any of the decisions I've made, and therefore they shouldn't bear any of the responsibility for my actions and my decisions. Someone cheating on a partner in the outside world, say someone they met at work, perhaps. But that's different to this situation where I've come here seeking something. I haven't been influenced or dictated to by anyone else so they're not even a factor. Never going to change my mind on this one, because I know first hand.

Everyone is here for their own reasons, couples and singles."

Well done on the physical front but emotionally do you care about your bed mate or the life they have and the potential consequences of your action? Why should he? Any of my decisions would be mine alone. The consequences wouldn't be the consequences of his action, they'd be the consequences of mine. If I meet a married man, I bear no responsibility to his wife, just as he bears no responsibility to my husband. You would be an 'enabler' - so yeah actually you would be responsible. he couldn't cheat,in that instance, without you giving him the chance to cheat. Like it or not, you're a party to that. Same with whoever you're fucking behind your hubby's back - hes the enabler for your cheating. Nope. If it wasn't me, it would be someone else. They've already made the decision by seeking it on the site. I'm not some harpy luring them into a trap. What you're advocating sounds dangerously like putting the blame on "the other woman" (or man) instead of the person in the relationship. Which people do like to do, but they shouldn't. You both share responsibility for the act of cheating. What he does with other people is irrelevant, but you know that right. No-one is saying you'd be responsible for him fucking some local barmaid. But you are morally responsible for enabling him to cheat when he fucks you. Same as the local barmaid would be, if she knew he was married. Nobody else is responsible, morally or otherwise, for me cheating. Not my partner, not any bloke who I've met or may meet in the future. It's my decision to be here, and my responsibility, not someone who's never met my partner. They owe him nothing, and I wouldn't try to shift the blame onto someone else. Neither will I be held responsible for anyone else's relationship, it's nothing to do with me. ello I think you're forgetting a major factor here...the reaction of the partners that are being cheated on...and you cant say they'll never find out..they often do...cos we're only human and can slip up. Thats when the whole situation is out of your control and you may have the wife/husband in your face. Sorry but the whole "they owe him nothing" comment wont go down too well with a pissed off and hurt spouse. way too messy. If their pissed off and hurt spouse comes and blames me, instead of their cheating partner, they're a fucking idiot. but you don't exist in a bubble Anna even though I agree blaming the person their partner had sex with is a pointless excercise. " Fair enough and I wouldn't seek to change your mind.

I totally agree...it is pointless. But people in that situation wont look at it like that. Theyre hurt...male pride/woman scorned thing is never good. If they're intelligent enough to get past all that to come after me, they're intelligent enough to know where they should be focusing their rage. Not something I'm going to worry about.

"I met a married lady via FAB. She was in a marriage that had no love, intimacy or affection. I sat and listened to this tale of frustration and anxiety and the fact she felt trapped. The thought of ending the marriage was one her family or religion would not countenance; this was her life. My reaction was measured and responsible. During the luncheon I went to the bar paid the bill and climbed out of the WC window and got the fook out of there!" Well aren't you lovely? So some women trusted you enough to tell you her personal emotions and problems and you climbed out of a window? That's a nasty and pathetic way to behave. Could you not have been respectful enough to listen and politely say that she wasn't for you?

I think its sad to disrespect your wives/hubbies over something as trivial as sex however you are all grown up & i guess you judge yourself as much as everyone else judges you. Just wonder wht thoughts would go through your heads if your OH had an affair??? Be interested in your _iews. For the record i am twice divorced & live happily with Mr _d40. I also firmy believe if you arent happy in a situation you move on. Much none judgemental love Mrs _d40" If my husband cheated on me, so long as it was sex/friendship only and not anything more than that, it wasn't in a way that would embarrass me and it wasn't anyone with a connection to our lives, I could deal with that. I'd also prefer not to know. If he had an affair with a work colleague or a friend though, he would be out the door.

"Just a manifestation of modern life I think, many want anything they think they deserve regardless of the cost to others. If you want sex and your partner doesnt at least have a conversation about you finding it elsewhere, if they can accept that then maybe the relationship can survive, if they cant do the decent thing and leave. Cheaters get found out sooner or later, some just choose to look the other way rather than have a confrontation" Is that a judgement based on experience?

I have an ethical problem with enabling cheating. So don't be an asshole and pretend you're single. I care about other humans on this planet, even if I've never met them. I feel it's the right way to live my life. You don't have to live your life the way that I love mine, but at least have respect for me by being honest.

And that to me smacks of impulsively doing something without showing a bit of restraint or thinking of consequences; I'd actually prefer the cold calculation of feeling something was needed and quietly, logically going and fixing the problem without breaking our life. As for someone at work, that's just such a naff cliche I'd be disappointed in them.

I know that this isn't the only reason for infidelity but its often cited on here as the cause." The idea of 'withholding' sex to me is a bit too close to rape. A marriage contract is not a guarantee of sex for the rest of your life. Expecting someone to have sex if they don't want to is essentially rape. People can go off sex for all kinds of reasons. What we should be asking is: 1. Why does society believe that sex is so important to a marriage? 2. Why do we believe in our modern society that sex is something that should only be done within two people? 3. Why does our society encourage people to stay together when they're unhappy? Don't blame the victim because they no longer want to have sex with someone.

Totally. ..apparently it is fine for one person in the relationship to say 'I don't fancy you anymore, I don't want sex anymore and I expect you as my partner to continue to be faithful and celibate forever and if you cheat on me or break up this marriage you are total scum who has wrecked the family'...yep..that sounds fair! Fair enough if people feel ethically they don't want to play with marrieds but geez not everything is black and white and you have no idea what others people circumstances are.

I don't believe people enter relationships expecting them to become non-sexual I think most of us don't consider or prepare for that eventuality. How both or all parties handle a relationship becoming celibate or close to it is significant of course and talking about people as victims in my opinion isn't conducive to success in that area.

I realised, way too late, that I was being unfair and stopped. I then spent 4-5 years feeling ugly and unsexy and depressed. And I nearly broke up the family as a result. Then I found Fab. Now the love we have for each other can just be what it is without it needing to be what it isn't. Its not ideal or perfect, but then neither am I. But I'm happy and so is my family. I don't blame anyone. It just is what it is and I make the best of what I can. And I actually consider myself to be very lucky to have what I have. I spent the last 8 years of my marriage being sexless the hardest thing was he would fuck anybody that moved except me it'd kind of hard to deal with That was my experience too NN except I spent 3 years celibate while he got it from anywhere else all the while making me out to be an awful wife that never wanted him! After 3 kids I was to hidious to have sex with so he had to look elsewhere apparently it was my own fault he shagged other womrn I can't say he cheated because he used to tell me, infact he used to bring one of his knock off to our home " that's so far removed from my situation. I don't have an answer to that because I don't know about anyone's situation apart from mine. I don't think any reason to cheat is really 'acceptable' in the true sense of word. However, I do believe in some circumstances it is preferable to the alternatives. Every situation is different.

Not because i was refusing sex, well unless sex with the other women counts I didnt need to go after the other woman...my greatest revenge is that shes now walking in my shoes (well she has the old man and the home, she may as well have my old shoes lolol) Shes now his "Mrs"....and hes now cheating on her. Im over it...even stayed on friendly terms with him. I refused to get bitter, cos the only person that fucks up is me and the kids. You wanna cheat...fine. Youre all big boys n gals...but do it with the understanding theres consequences with every decision you make in life. some good, some bad. Now im gonna get off this soapbox as its a killer on me feet and some twats nicked me shoes

"I often wonder why its deemed more acceptable by society for a partner to withhold sex than it is to seek sex elsewhere. I know that this isn't the only reason for infidelity but its often cited on here as the cause. The idea of 'withholding' sex to me is a bit too close to rape. " Hi Wasp Hunter, I enjoy reading your posts and whilst I don't always agree with you, I think you phrase different opinions respectfully so please don't take these comments as passive aggressive but here goes: 1a) statistically speaking it is important, scientific studies have shown that the ratio of sex to arguments is the leading predictor of martial continuation (fact not my opinion). This is true in general, if not for every individual case (before someone bombards me with anecdotal stories of bob down the road who hasn't been fucked in a decade but is as happy as larry) 1b) It's part of what a marriage is. Like it or not, marriage has a historical definition and context that makes clear sex is expected. The whole consummation of a marriage... I'm not advocate for rape, but if someone doesn't want sex then they should consider whether marriage is for them. They don't need to get married, they could always cohabit. 2) I'd recommend a book on evolutionary psychology to answer that. I got attacked last time I tried explaining it. There is a reason but it's not a particularly good one anymore (opinion, not fact) Again, not advocating rape but if you don't want to fuck your partner I'd say that's a problem worth exploring and trying to fix (opinion, not fact)

I must be crazy. I care. It's a bit like being a vegetarian. I don't want to eat meat, I have an ethical problem with that. So therefore don't be an asshole and hide meat in my food. I have an ethical problem with enabling cheating. So don't be an asshole and pretend you're single. I care about other humans on this planet, even if I've never met them. I feel it's the right way to live my life. You don't have to live your life the way that I love mine, but at least have respect for me by being honest." This Being honest allows an individual to make the choice, both ways. Being honest with your partner (they can then choose to stay or leave) being honest with a potential meet (they can choose if they wanna meet a married individual). Not being honest is purely selfish on the part of the deceiver......you're not allowing those you're deceiving the choice based on the truth.

"Just when I start to see swinging in a rose tinted everyone-is-so-open-and-honest way, threads like this makes me face the harsh reality. " And how would you describe the harsh reality? Would you disagree with: "I don't think any reason to cheat is really 'acceptable' in the true sense of word. However, I do believe in some circumstances it is preferable to the alternatives. Every situation is different." Or "I don't think its ok to potentially hurt a partner you profess to love by any action, infidelity included but it happens." Or "For a lifestyle that is different from what would be described by many as 'normal' is so moralised. Many people on this site and others, whether a couple, single female or a single male always highlight that they want discretion. Is that because they don't want to be judged by the vanilla community? Which is what many do to the single, whether male or female. I just find some of the moralistic points of _iew hypocritical. Everyone is here for their own reasons, couples and singles."

Why break up an otherwise good relationship, with the inevitable colateral damage, simply because the couple have become sexually incompatible? Sadly social and religious indoctrination make people believe sexual faithfulness is hugely important and that is why it hurts the "victim". If we started treating it as what it is, a pleasant bodily function", then there would be far fewer marriage breakdowns. And Fab would have a 1000 times more members.
