I met my FB nearly 10 years ago on another site. At first I thought he wasn't my type and assumed the first meet would be the only meet. But he got back in touch. We've had our ups and downs, fallen out, made up, had relationships with others and so on, but are still going strong. And that was a guy who I thought didn't like me.
What I am trying to say is that you tend not to look for FBs, you stumble over them. Don't think that someone who doesn't fit your preferences would not be for you - you never know! |

I think its a delicate balance, but most of the guys I met when I was single wanted repeat meets and two developed into fwb situations. Where to draw the line between that and a relationship of sorts is really a tricky one as you become close and develop a bond. Of course, now I have a partner and it is much preferable .... |

don't go looking for one, meet a man who is in an age range close to yours, see how you get on, i've met two that way in the last year, had a couple's profile with the first, then split (illness) now have another who I see regularly and we speak everyday, and met another yesterday who I hope to meet regularly too,but he's a bit further away |

We've nearly hit the year mark !
As FWB we don't get as much time for sex as we'd like ( so fb is not applicable)
But we do chat and have a laugh which I think is the main difference between the 2 ?
It does make the meeting new people more exciting with a fwb good luck one and all !!
