Afternoon folks!
We've been chatting with an events photographer friend who shoots sports events and races in the UK. He's said that he can easily take 500-700 shots at one event such as a motor race or sports game. Of these, maybe 200 will end up on his blog or on Facebook.
Because of this huge volume of shots, he and some of his colleagues have set up the Five Shot Challenge whereby they try and tell the entire story of the event in 5 photos. Maybe capturing the tension of the game or fun involved. Whatever the takeaway of the game or event was.
This got me to thinking. Some profiles on here have a fair few pics, ranging up to a hundred or so. A large proportion seem to feature the same or similar shot taken a few seconds or minutes apart in a session or shot from a slightly different angle. So if you had to, could you tell the 'story' of your Fab adventures in five shots? If so, which ones? (5th one ... 22nd one .... etc..)
We're as yet too stingy to pay for site support so we're limited to 12 pics. As we quite enjoy taking photos, it's become a fun game to try and pick the best of the bunch to share. We keep swapping them to keep them fresh (:
Our top 5 would be; 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 8th and 11th. What's yours?
