"Subspace is a D/s term but I wonder if anyone goes into it from swinging with just a bit of kink? I think I did yesterday and it was wonderful! "
Yes. I get subspace from vanilla sex. My triggers are usually intense roleplay with tonnes on mental stimulation and physical at the same time and my brain can't take any more and my endorphins are rushing and I just space. I'm pretty incoherent. |

Sub space from a D perspective is a major part of play.
The fractionation to build it, cranking up expectation/want. The anticipation/need to create a sensory overload is a fantastic D/s dance, well in my world. |

I think subspace is a misnomer, everyone can experience the afterglow from sex to a different degree. There is also the argument for domspace .
Scientifically it is an endorphin high which you should get if you have sex in general.
I think most people have a trouble actually feeling free when they have sex which is why you don't experience it.
It is mostly associated with subs because you don't give them the option but to be free by seizing control over them and their usual controlling nature that stops them enjoying things. |
