Saw a goth/emotional girl on the tube to other day very cute and I noticed a fair few self harm scars, was tempted to ask if things were better now as most seemed old but I'm a bit shy.
I think she may have though I was judgementally staring though but I was lost more analysing the scars, wondering why some had clearly been stitched others not and how come they were very spread out each event separated by a long sitting of clear skin as opposed to mine which are all laid up on top of each other in one space.
I always want to give emos/goths a cuddle ^_^ |

I wish I could be more goth, I do have my head to toe black days, and my fave lipstick is my brown one, and there is torment in my soul no one else understands... no, its hard to be a goth when you've got blue hair! |

I do like goth girls. But I think I prefer the alt scene in general. I have a thing for women with tattoos and funky hair. Gimme a girl with tattoos on her arms and bright multi coloured hair and I'm in heaven lol |

I love it.
But, to be honest. I love any alternative look. To me that means someone has their own sense of style, a personality unique to their own and not 'dressing' up to please others but themselves.
I love it!
...think i already said that.

It is.... 
Loads of pics online to give a flavour of the event (Google image WGW Goth etc)
For us it's always the (twin) highlights of the year...April and Haloween
5 years ago I'd never heard of it, but it's a massive event... Same with the Lincoln Steampunk festival next month (biggest in the World)...you only seem to find out about these 'alt' events by word of mouth....
Anyway, lots of fun to be had with like minded people

I dyed my hair pink (hence my profile name) for the first time at 47. I've got into 50's circle dresses and have one in a skull pattern. I've also found a fabulous silver choker covered in skulls.
I've never had as many compliments from both M/F since changing my look, which I find interesting given I'm in my late 40's (also very gratifying!!) |

N the great thing is that no one bats an eyelid (lol)
We tone stuff down most of the year, unfortunately, but at Whitby you can be yourself (or someone else if that's yer thang)
Goths, cyber goths, steam punks, Victorians, latex lovers, fetishists, TVs, sub/doms, fancy dress etc...all mingling together in a Yorkshire town.....awesome |

I used to be a goth years and years ago ..between the ages of 14 to 20 ...still have a certain look about me on occasions ...love the goth look ..not keen at all on the emo look (both very different)....think Amy Lee |

There seems to be quite a few ex-Goths who enjoy swinging...last year I went to the Cult and the Mission at the Hammersmith Palais and couldn't help wondering how many of the audience - mostly in their late 30s and 40s - might be on Fab...LOL! |

We both played with a Cyber Goth at the weekend.... She enjoyed it as much as us...especially when Liz brought her off with her magic fingers lol
Now on the lookout for an alt/goth sub closer to home for more of the same....
