Sense of humour bypass.....

When I first joined FAB some years ago the forums used to be a place where people joined in threads and generally enjoyed the 'conversation' - even disagreements were politely given and accepted. Lately though there seems to be an awful lot of bitchiness and there seems to be a group of forumites who will just tear into anyone regardless of the topic of conversation! What happened to the happiness? Where did the smiles, humour and support go?

Now i'll just sit back in my corner and wait to be kicked.......

Ignore them and take heart that there are some pleasant happy peeps here also

There are still fun threads.

There are still supportive advice threads.

There are some seriously hysterical posts.

There are tongue in cheek comments.

There are toys thrown out of the pram.

There are those that chuck hissy fits when people don't agree with them.

There are the White Knights.

The are the drama queens.

There is the occasional offensive/abusive remark.

Can't say I've noticed anything change over the last few years at all. The forums are still one big melting pot.

I've been here seven years: I've not noticed any change...doesn't say much though really. Didn't notice the whopping new shelter they erected at Crystal Palace station that I go through twice a day.

My friend did: he's visually impaired and walks with a white stick!

I try to avoid anything to do with gushing, black guys or bi guys because there are lots of nasty comments on those. So, I go about my business gushing with Mr Law, who I s a bi black guy. At least he is not single any more, and we don't cheat .....
