I normally seek out new people to meet..Ive seen status updates lasting years claiming they were at a party/gangbang last nite etc etc,daily meet requests posted,
and not one person has found it ijn their heart to verify..my conclusion...lies...
it doesnt annoy me to be honest really..I get almost enough of what I want and quickly move on if I suspect the profile is sounding like pish...
I've seen fake verifying..etc etc..
I just dont think its that bad an idea to remain a bit cynical on those you are unsure of, than those that appear at least active on the scene..."

My thoughts?
I couldn't care less how someone chooses to use Fab or their profile. So they're not verified, doesn't necessarily mean they're not meeting people. |

Why does it matter? Some people choose not to display their veri summary - doesn't mean theyre not having fun - let people use FAB the way they want without judging because they either have none or just prefer not to shout them from the rooftops. |

They can use the site any way they choose but I would be wary of engaging or arranging a meet. It is not diffucult for couples or single women to get a meet within days or weeks. If they have been in over 6 months with no meet (not even a social) It says to me they aren't meeting anyone.......
Single guys do find it harder so they may take longer to get started  |

They could be having an absolute ball meeting other non verified people every week!! Who cares how others run their profile. I'm sure some set up a profile then for whatever reason, life gets in the way and they don't use it for months. I wouldn't read anything into it nor does it bother me. |

verifications are on here as a tool thats all, and as a tool you can choose to use it or ignore it, it doesn't bother us if they have no veri's but it does mean we would take a little longer to get to know them |

Perhaps they set up a profile just to have a bit of a perve looking round the site ? I'm not aware of any rule that says if you have a profile, you have to meet.
I choose not to meet unverified users but each to their own. |

I met a guy who was on here for 3 years with no veri but used my gut instinct and sorted a social. He turned up early, was a lovely guy and we meet relatively regularly now. |

I do think the verification system does need updating and shouldn't include webcam verifications.
And i dont care about the crap from guys saying its hard to get meets on here !
Its not hard to get meets atall i dont know why guys bleat so much .
If u arnt verified after a few months then i see that as someone who's just enjoying the chat and banter and who's probably never going to meet |

Been on the site now for quite a bit of time, Its hard to get verified. I speak to people in the chat rooms and have a met a few in person. The problem is not everyone leaves a verification. Doesn't bother me any more. verified or not. |

This has to be the first thread about this I have ever seen where the majority have said it is of no concern to them and to let people use the verification tool the way they want.
Makes a pleasant change to the normal of them being fakes and timewasters. |

Personally I found the verification idea a real bonus over other similar sites.
You at least have a good idea that the person really exists, which other sites don't have. There are dozens of threads here about "fake" profiles. Try searching a site that doesn't have a verification system if you want to see how many there are out there.
Fab verifications is what pretty much made my decision to join.
Only then did I realise what a poisoned chalice it could be.
Some people don't meet members with no verifications but the only way to get one is interact with someone who has one. Can be a Catch 22.
No verifications is seen as a fake or a timewaster. Too many verifications and you're fucking your way through the site.
You joined yesterday and got a verification the same day, definately dodgy.
You've been here six months and not had a meet, you're not serious.
Hidden verification, are you ashamed to show it?
You've met with so and so, I don't like that person so I won't meet you.
You've met three blondes, you won't meet me, I'm a brunette.
You simply cannot win, you can only run your profile your way and hope for the best.
Here's how I run mine;
They fall into two groups, social and intimate.
Intimate are between me and the writer so I'd keep them private.
Social are exactly that, a meet for a chat and a coffee etc.
So I show my socials.
All they do is validate that there's a real person behind the profile, that I turn up when and where I've agreed and I look like the person in my profile gallery.
If other people don't like it not much I can do about it so no point worrying about it.
That's what works for, if it doesn't work for anyone else, who cares. Pfffffft. And mehhh. |

Oddly enough I tend to ignore non-veried, yet most of my fave/regular/top Meets don't Veri me, or I them (probably because we like the privacy, don't want others seeing what we're up to, & I'm not a fan of very explicit Veris).
If they aren't Veried & have no pics I move on as there's nothing really to catch my attention.
The Veri Summary is s boon for folk who don't want to show all their Veris. However no Veris at all make me think they're pic collectors or just lurkers. It's up to individuals how they use their profile. |

It really doesn't matter one bit who thinks what , and here's why .
Those of us who think a woman or a couple who haven't been verified are a waste of time , will skip that profile and move on . No harm done .
Those who think a profile has too many veris will do exactly the same , and again no harm done .
And although a few snidey comments may be made in the forums , again , it really doesn't matter .
There are plenty of like minded people on here to ensure everyone can enjoy what floats their boat .
The only thing that gets our goat is the higher than thou brigade , who seem to think they are better than others because they spout on about quality over quantity . There is such a thing as a quantity of quality too , and this doesn't make those enjoying that any worse or better than anyone else . |

For example within two weeks of joining I had a meet with a woman who's profile was as a couple and said they only met couples. We agreed not to give each other a verification as she didn't want her partner knowing she met single guys without his knowledge. |

I found a solution to this clearly if they say "quality not quantity" they must be quality so I just meet everyone who puts that on their page then I can day "well luck clearly I only meet quality...just load a of them" |
