In an ideal world if the people we were meeting were guaranteed to be Sti free then yes we would love to play bare, we resort the choice of others who play bare to play bare it's their right to make that choice. You will always have those that disagree and that's their right as well , what we dislike is when people start bad mouthing others who play bare because they do not agree with it .

Only to add that there's no such thing as 100% 'safe' sex - a condom won't stop genital warts for example. Not to mention condoms come off & break on occasion.

Obviously still a good think to do if you don't know the partner but safest thing is to know their history and swap tests.

For bareback here. As others have pointed out there are risks with condoms due to breaking etc as well as bare oral, and they don't stop all stds anyway. So the first filter has to be choice of partner. We would play bareback but not with someone who practices 'safe sex' with many partners without getting checked out. Just wouldn't risk it.

End of the day any person in front of you could have lied about their previous so every new partner is a risk. Have to take each case as unique and go by their appearance, cleanliness, what they say etc.

Bareback is more fun. Condoms are a chore, can cause loss of erection, definitely sensation loss, they smell disgusting and cheapen the whole sexual experience.

Rather one bareback encounter per year than 100 with condoms.

Then there's the couples ...... I'm sure other guys will back me up here the amount of cpls that ask if u could go bareback just this once as hubby likes sloppy seconds or cleaning up afterwards if he's cuckold ! So much hypocrisy.

And do people really believe condoms are totally safe ?

I don't doubt what you say. All I (he) can say is when I used condoms years ago I found they regularly split during sex, and it goes from 'hmm that's alright' to 'omg fuck me fuck me fuck me yes yes yes' immediately. When they've split nobody ever said to stop and put a new one on, the basic sexual instinct takes over and wild horses couldn't stop us.

Condoms that fail mainly do so due to human error, basically those that don't know how to put them on (probably those that usually bb). Mistakes people make can be not pinching the end before rolling down, not rolling down far enough, putting testicles in the bag, double bagging, buying wrong size condoms.....unless you or a friend is part of very small percentage of the human race where they don't sell a big enough size.

Also someone said they don't protect against all STI's such as genital warts, this is true but the chances are still massively reduced anf I'd prefer to be protected against the serious untreatable diseases.

In its simplest form

For - it feels good

Against - unwanted pregnancy or STI risk, or both.

The only true safe sex is no sex so alleviate the risks to yourself to your own standards or needs, nobody else's opinion counts. One can only look after ones own sexual health.

Herpes gladiatorum is one of the most infectious of herpes-caused diseases, and is transmissible by skin-to-skin contact. The disease was first described in the 1960s in the New England Journal of Medicine. It is caused by cutaneous infection with HumanHerpes Simplex Virus type 1 (HSV-1),which more commonly causes oral herpes (cold sores). Another strain, HSV-2 usually causesgenital herpes, although the strains are very similar and either can cause herpes in any location. Tiny little blisters that burst bit like hair spots and your infected, no cure you live with painful blisters that come and go around your genitals.

So something to think about when naked with a partner or with a stranger.

So enjoy sex safely or NOT

The guy that introduced me to the lifestyle. Used to pay for a 8 panel std test every 3 months. This cost about $ 250 every time. He use to Take the results With him to all his meets. So he could bareback the couple or female.

When he suggested that I start doing that. I said " Why , isn't condoms cheaper " . He said " ohh , I never thought of that "

He didn't realize he was spending 1k a year just on test.

So if you want to bareback everyone you meet. Meet them at the clinic, pay $ 500 , get your results in 1 hour and have fun for a night. Or just buy condoms

So dying from HIV/AIDS/Hep B isn't serious then? And yes they are untreatable because they cant be cured, the treatment is merely for the symptoms and slows the progression of the disease.

Seriously, get your facts right before you start spouting bullshit saying that they aren't serious

Compared with winning the lottery bareback sex has got safer!

Due to them adding a further ten number to the lottery the odds of winning the jackpot are now 45 million to one.

But there again you would probably be hit by lightning before claiming your lottery winnings as that are between one in 1,068,333 and one in 2,136,666 in the UK.

But if you are that one the odds count for nothing

I'm all for BB. The feeling is so much better and I'm in this life style to enjoy sex, so wearing a condom does seem to be a bit of an irony in that regard when it means that I don't enjoy the sensation as much.

My view is that as long as all parties are tested regularly then, yes even then the risk is higher, but it's more of a calculated risk.

That depends on you definition of easily.

STIs can and are spread by unprotected oral sex.

Also STI can and are spread by protected penetrative sex.

STIs can also be spread by non penetrative sex.

Perhaps you should get so guidance on just how STIs may be spread.

Scrolled down to ask a slightly sad question of you all who say bareback is for long term relationships with people you trust (and it isn't an accusation or anything) - haven't you been stung before? Loving and trusting someone is no guarantee of an std free life, and cheating in marriages is at a self confessed (approximation) 50%.

I can't get it. Folks saying they bareback and get tested every 2 months. And what.? Do you call that protection? Get real.

"I can't get it. Folks saying they bareback and get tested every 2 months. And what.? Do you call that protection? Get real."

It's not protection but it means they can get treatment quickly and inform the correct partners.

If you wear a rubber but never get tested it could be along time before you know you've got something and if it's chlamydia you could have destroyed dozens of women's lives permanently while your happily thinking your safe

"If you practise safer sex,and lots of us do,what difference does it make to us if others have bareback??

How can we be against it??

We have all the information we need to make a decision.

It is a bit like asking people if their for or against sunbathing."

"I do hate these threads as I find the whole bareback issue so dishonest!

I was in a club a cpl of weeks ago and saw a lot of barebacking but when I read these peoples profiles after it said safe sex only .

Never had anyone cover my cock for oral yet and this is just as dangerous!

As I say take what people say and promise on here with a big pinch of salt !

Although I must say the younger people are a million times more careful than the older ones .. Oral sex is nowhere near as dangerous,in fact I consider it relatively safe.

Load of crap...my fb has caught an STI twice from oral sex at a club...that was before I met him, so not from me, but from women that had quite clearly sucked other cocks before him...

Or more likely he was lying..."

Yeah right, because you know him so well...he only does oral at clubs...or watches...but that tbh is none of your business...don't judge others by your owns standards...

"Wonder how many of the anti-BB brigade use a condom for oral?

STI's can be passed just as easily that way...

Incorrect

You might want to go back to school for a sex education class so if you're naive enough to think that STIs cant be passed through protected oral sex

I said incorrect because there not passed as easily via oral and not as many sti'd are passed via unprotected oral

Of course there are! A friend caught the clap from giving oral to a woman, so yes you can get any sti just from oral alone"

I know but chlamydia for instance am doesn't normal have symptoms in men and can result in infertility in women.

The clap doesn't normal have symptoms in women but does in men but isn't usually life changing

Fortunately as men were at a lot less risk both of contracting and suffering long term effects. But I know I'd feel devastated if I ruined a woman's chance to have kids because I didn't get tested or was sensible.

I can't even imagine that level of guilt

Central

A new daily pill cuts virtually 100% of the risk for gay men from hiv. I don't think it's been tested fully on people other than gay and bi men yet.

"I'm for,

Used to always wear a glove and have great sex but since the first time bareback I've not been able to cum with a condom on because I know how awesome it feels without one on! Plus the risk kinda makes it sexier

The risk of getting an STD or someone pregnant is sexy, really??!The trick is pull out before cum.

Is this a serious comment?

Sorry but are you all there?!

YEs I am how about you? "

Yes I am thanks

Based on my observations people seem far more careful with their sexual health in forums such as this than they are in the heat of the moment.

"

So you'd rather spend £500,000 for the next 16 years rather than free condoms? Jesus Christ

If your only form of contraception is a condom and you're swinging you WILL get pregnant. I suggest you have a rethink."

Terrence Higgins Trust provide free condoms. Can't think why??.......

I've always used the depo injection. I don't swing, I don't have sex, so I'm pregnant proof and std proof!"

So why r u on a swingers site?? Hv I missed something here?

"Always double bag it lol

Double bagging wont help it will only make it worse"

Yep - the friction between the condoms makes them split. Terrible myth that one

That's right as we got less chance of getting it, but as you say its always best to get checked to be sure.

As much as i love the idea of busting a huge nut and watching it leak out afterwards, then a few mins later going back inside and doing the same again, the thought of going for a check up a few weeks later to be told, 'sorry young man, you got the HIV', just kills it for me.

You can normally tell a clean woman from a dirty woman though.
