Putting aside situations where physically/facially, the person you meet turns out to look nothing like the pictures on their profile/that they have sent you.
Have you had meets where, having entered into a good amount of communication beforehand, the person turns out to be completely different in person to their online persona? |

I find sometimes people are very flirty and appear confident on here but in the real world they are a lot less confident and sometimes less flirty - I am one of the odd ones who is exactly the same both so I can appear a bit full on in the real world and I know sometimes people are surprised by this |

In all our meets, the ladies turned out to be exactly what their profiles said and shown, so we have been lucky to that extent. We always insist to talk on the phone a couple of times prior to the first social meet. What is really anoying, is people who have age old pictures on their profiles. |

A lot of my meets the communication before hand has been promising but fallen flat when we're together. I think with me I talk the talk, I'm a bit of an exhibitionist etc... but in person I'm shy and reserved.
When it comes to looks I always send a make-up and non make-up face pic and highlight that I'm a size 18/5.10/ 86 kilos. Apparently it makes me come across as insecure, but I just don't want any surprises... especially cos my pics don't make me look my size! |

We are completely ourselves on here so what you see is what you get. We don't expect to appeal to all and have no expectations ourselves....apart from respect |

A few times and it was awkward.
I'm the same out there as on here.

I've only politely walked out on two people on here !
One was larger and older than her pics and the other had bad dental hygiene.
But the rest were as they said on the tin and I was left a happy man |

Some not all have been a little reserved "shy" so if you have more meets the online softie does come to the surface.
Maybe some guys find it hard to express themselves face to face or fear having emotions trampled by being to forward.. |

Pretty much as expected so far although one guy we were just fascinated by and actually better than our communications which were always very good. A good guy and very glad we met him, smiles all round here. |

People who look very different to pics are just cheating...
I'm no different in person to how I am online.

I've never met anyone who didn't look like teir pics becase i always talk on webcam with someone before i meet them, however i have found the guys to be a lot more nervous in person than on cam. Maybe because i tend to meet newbies but i find it quite sweet |

I think it's important to send a recent fully body pic . Different people find different shapes / sizes attractive .
luckily everyone we've met has always been exactly if not better than the pics they have sent us .

Once or twice, yes. But maybe it was probably more a case of we just didn't click in person, than they were actually different.
I'm generally more reserved and shy in person. To start with anyway.. |
