More and more on the forums I see men jumping in self righteously on comments made by other men in an effort to make themselves look good to ladies. There are serial offenders too. Questions
1. Ladies, does it impress you ?
2. Victims does it piss you off ?
3. Perpetrators - does it make you feel good ?

These sort of men are called 'white knights'.
Try posting (as a bisexual man) on a straight guys thread and almost guaranteed he will interact and answer the ladies and ignore my post. Now obviously no one is under any obligation to acknowledge but it's pretty obvious all the same.
It makes me want to shout 'Abraham Lincoln' really loudly. |

Fair enough, don't study the forums so wouldn't know about old posts. I just though it might start an interesting debate
Not really it's just it's the usual approach.

It doesn't impress me. I like a bit of banter, humour and those who are real! The best threads are often those where people disagree, but put a good reasoned argument as to why. If we all agreed all the time, it would get dead boring. |

So THAT'S what a White Knight is. I sorta suspected it was a guy coming on to comfort a gal who had been let down online (but in reality was trying their hand to appear sympathetic in order to get into their knickers).
As for commenting on threads - I thought it was open to all sexual persuasions of the site. Some of the comments can be humorous & most likely meant that way, but can easily be misinterpreted as bitchy. It can be hard to tell & depends on the mood state of the individual reader. |

There is one lurking on the forums who is so over the top apologetic and "right on" with everything he does its saccharine.
But on the flip side it's an open forum so let them get on with it. |

Slight flip side but sometimes you might genuinely disagree with somebody (we do all have different views after all) and get accused of being a white knight when frankly you simply actually agree with the lass not the lad |
