The ratio is tricky to assess using the Search facility to get a UK-wide number as the count of any category stops at 300.
If you pin it down to local searches you get a varying ratio number.
Then you can filter for age, preferences, etc., etc. so any one ratio figure seems almost impossible to gain.

Why does it matter OP?
If the site contained 100 couples, 200 women and 2 guys...........and none of the couples or women were interested in or attracted to those 2 guys......?
Ratios aren't worth worrying about. You can't influence them.
You can only be the best 'you' that you can be. And if that doesn't work - then whether you're an overweight 50something married guy looking for daytime bunk ups, a 20 yr old squaddie looking for fun when on leave or a 30-40something egomaniac who thinks they have a great body and a huge wang - you'll have the same success, or lack of, that you'd have if you were the only guy on site.
Realising this is far more important that trying to blame ratios for any lack of perceived 'success'.

Probably a poor analogy but this is where my head is at today....during a recession some companies close, some survive and some thrive....they are all in the same game with the same rules...it's how they play the game that counts. |

To be honest I'd say it's more like 10:1!
Some time ago I opened a thread and asked a number of people in different geographical areas to go on 'who's near online' in their area!
Discounting couples (as they have one man, one woman - obviously) there were - when evening things out - roughly ten single males to each single female.
I'd be interested if someone came up with a better/different idea to analyse it - but as far as I'm aware this is as accurate a way as it can be done!
If anyone wanted to try this again (as it was last year) then I'd suggest this evening would be a good time to start a thread - as many people are home on a wed eve! Xx

For the record - I think we set the radius at either 10 (for densely populated areas) or 20 (for rural areas) miles! X |
