Welsh on girls or Cornish ... Maybe it's anything that conjures up images of busty barmaids.... Here in Oxford it's a bit rubbish and all a little rwah rwah . But if you travel north maybe 5 miles out of the city it gets very county very quickly . Only one T and no O in trak-er |

I don't know why but always found Women with a Lancashire accent sexy or a posh southern accent, But as long as I can understand them and find them attractive it doesn't really matter where they are from |

When I was a whoremonal teenager, I used to listen to a really sexy DJ (Diana Luke) on the late night radio. She was Canadian (probably still is). I still hear her occasionally and she still sounds sexy |

I remember an Italian secretary i used to speak to regularly over the phone.. Whenever I thanked her (like a proper Brit!) she would say " Oh, eet ees my pleaaaashuuore" - and I would melt. Then, one day, I went over there and met her - not like my mind's eye had imagined her at all! |

Northern, Welsh, Irish, Scottish - all sexy acccents as long as they are articulate men and women - not fond of some Southern or Brummie accents much but love Cornish, Devon and Somerset accents. Accent wouldn't stop me playing - but the right accent saying the right words is an extra thrill definitely m x |

What's an educated accent? Are we still assuming anyone with any trace of a regional accent is uneducated these days? |

Refined Geordie is the best accent. |

People tend to laugh at mine rather than find it sexy. Possibly why I spend a proportion of time on meets with my mouth full. Personally I like a range of accents but for some reason find Northern Irish grating unless it's softly pitched. |

Ha ha...accents are picked up by peer pressure...I was taught how to speak correctly from an early age and never bowed to peer pressure to fit in....
If you feel that is a slur against anyone with an accent then that says, in my opinion, you are reading into more into my post than the actual post itself.... |

Accents and speaking incorrectly are two completely different things. No slur taken, I'm just pleased that kind of casual unthinking prejudice is dying out with my generation. |

My sons dad's Irish, born/bred in Limerick. I lived there for two years with my son - I'll reserve judgement on the typical Irish guy haha
