What seems to be the main reason for members leaving Fab

There is no doubt fabswingers has changed from when it first went live.
What reasons are people using if any before they move on to another site.
For eg
More and more time wasters.
singles pretending to be couples.
picture collectors.
lack of assistance from Admin to a complaint. |

Perhaps one reason is not really to do with Fab at all, but swinging in general. We all have our preferences for the kinds of people we are looking for and the area you are looking in. After a while you will exhaust that pool of people as the ones that fit your criteria and fancy you back can be quite small. So maybe they are moving on to other sites to try their luck with a different group of people. |

Some People change as they get older and what was good ten years ago is not the same as been there done most things and look for a change. Life it gets in the way and some look for more then fast lane sex with people they don't know . Fab has changed but I still think it's the best site around and gives good value to people who wish to pay . |

We sometimes consider leaving because now we have a good group of friends who are just what we're looking for who we can arrange to meet outside of the site, we don't really need it any more. But we still find it entertaining enough to stay for now |

I'm not on here as much because i'm restarting a relationship and spending loads of time with him right now, we need to do a lot of talking plus are having fun.
So i will be 'leaving' as of now, probably already left if i'm honest (mentally). Just not gonna meet anyone and hide my profile if i get offers for meets. |

Excellent point, although we've have noticed one or two have mentioned in various threads about leaving prior to leaving, we've also spoken to a few lately who are considering leaving.
Just wondering what the most common reason seems to be.

Lots of people leave because they thought all they needed to do was sign up and there would be a queue of people eager and willing to meet them at the drop of a hat and they find it isn't true. Some leave because their partner finds out, some because one partner longer wants to swing, some because they get fed up of the swinging dynamic. There are loads of reasons. |

I'm amazed that the usual apologists haven't yet showed up to claim the sites as good as it's ever been, whilst attempting to claim any perceived flaws in the site are somehow the complaining individuals fault. |

None of the reasons given in the OP would make me leave....when I left before it was due to my own personal circumstances. I would have thought that most level headed people would say the same. |

Ive left and returned twice !
I go through stages where i find this whole thing too much ! I get sick of bullshitters and liars . But i always come back for more .
But now if i get fed up i just hide profile and forget about it for a while.
Oh and once i left because of a stalker |

I usually leave due to personal circumstances. Pressure at work, studies, bad time etc.
I really don't believe in the idea that there is now more timewasters. I accept if the site becomes more popular you will get more but you will also get more genuine people. The idea there is an increase in timewasters doesn't sit well with me |

I would love to just hide the profile and forget about it for a while but temptation gets the better of me |

Peoples reasons for leaving will be individual. What causes one to jump ship won't necessarily be the reason another leaves.
Many of what could be classed as suspected reasons have already been mentioned.
Of course some don't leave by choice!
To me the sites as good as it's ever been and there will most definitely be cases where any perceived flaws in the site are somehow the complaining individuals fault.

I love this site...cant really identify with some reasons that have been given,ie; for a monogamous relationship. I would have thought most people join fab swingers cos they don't want a 121 set up. . .as for the type yr lookin for drying up,my experience has been a whole bunch of newbies come in,after you have exhausted current crop!
My feeling would be people got bored and/or didn't get any meets,through not putting any effort in. |

non of the reason given in the opening post really bother us.
To be honest as cliched as it sounds we use the site to keep in touch with friends, leaving the site would have little impact on us. I think if we relied on this site for meets we would find it frustrating and I doubt we'd persevere too much. |

These sites have a life span this is third one I've been in over the years. People leave for many reasons many will stay until something better come along. |

But putting that in perspective there's, at most, one or two a day? And most days there are 20 - 24,000 online...
And when you take into consideration the number of people that start those threads about leaving and then rejoin within a month or so, either as themselves or re-invented....
Other than that I think its just the normal cycle of things. People get what they want from the site and when they dont any more they leave. Theres no reason that anyone needs to sign up for life. |

We have contemplated leaving a few times for different reasons ranging from the increase of what we think are complete idiots joining up to just not having the time. We did like reading the forums but they have also gone downhill and ain't as much fun lately. |
