Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I used to work with soldiers. Some of them are. Bums look good in camouflage though

To be honest. The spelling annoys me more than her preference. If that's her experience then it's up to her. Maybe she's feeling like a bit of a rebel too. It's very uncool to slag off soldiers isn't it. Although it shouldn't be I don't think. Some of them are pricks. Although they do have nice bums in their gear.

What a waste of time and effort getting annoyed at a total strangers grammar .

Close profile and move on .

We know two soldiers and they are lovely, polite and funny guys. She is just being knee jerk judgemental like most on here who wrap it in a cloak of personal preference.

'Madam' isn't a proper noun either so shouldn't be capitalised. Never wise to play the grammar police.

Surely her preferences are entirely up to her?
