Now im not being a little pussy here, but, whats the deal with peeps inviting you to skanky run down homes that stink of cats piss, and cuz your a single male your supposed to be grateful???
I dont do many meets but im reminded of one i met from faceparty of all sites and involved a 300 mile round trip to a dirty spunk stained matress and a dodgy neighbour watching with the 'lady' of the house insisting the curtains stay open. think they were net.
Now now now, dont get me wrong, single males have to bite the shit sammitch to get on the ladder but ive heard many such tales like my own.
and ive not even digressed the wife and the 'porn film director' story  |

Its not only single guys mate. As a couple we have been to a couple of homes like that.
One had two huge dogs that slavered constantly all over you while you were sat, the owners didn't even think to call them to heel, never mind lock them outside. The house was a mess of dog hairs and stale urine smells. We had a coffee, passed the time of day and left after 30 minutes.
Another was even worse. no carpets or curtains, furniture looked like they had dragged it out of a skip. No sheets or anything on the bed, just a bare mattress, according to Katee who was invited upstairs to view the ladies toys before 'we started' The couple themselves looked fabulous on here, in the flesh it was a different prospect. Again we had a coffee and made our excuses. |

i must have been lucky because i have never been to a dirty house and if i ever invited anyone here id spend all day cleaning up first cause it would take all day to clear up after my kids lol |

There is no excuse for a dirty unclean house. A lived in house is fine. we have 3 kids and one of them loves drawing on the walls. hence we have several litres of paint in the cupboard lol.
Our house sometimes resembles a toyshop. a computer games store after the kids(and me) dont put the computer games away but our house isnt skanky and dirty. The floors aint sticky and dirty. the curtains are clean the cups aint cracked and the settee doesnt stink of dog lol.
some people have no Pride at all. We got a single guy round once whilst we was part way through decorating. nicky was mortified at first but the guy just said we all decorate love....Only thing missing was the ferkin carpet lol

We used to go to a party in Birmingham where you used to take your own glasses as well as a bottle, as you wouldn't want to use any of the ones there!
Interestingly that place was a single guys house, then a woman he met at one of the parties moved in with him, and the place went from bad to worse lol  |

Why would you lie down on a dirty "spunk stained" mattress - I take it she didn't have sheets then, and why would you go there in front of the neighbour?!!
This whole post sounds odd to me!!
A playmate and I have both been at work but feeling horny and we've both "discovererd" a meeting we've had to attend and we've arranged to meet at mine. We got to my house the same time - I didn't have to rush home to clean because my house is always tidy (even more so now my daughters are seldom at home)!!
I don't know how people can play in dirty conditions!!!

im ashamed to say i felt rude just doing one and legging it!
so instead i went through the motions went down on her, nearly puked in my mouth then comes the real cowardly part, i said i needed to get my mobile phone out of my car and drove away.
100% fact not proud but thats what i did, then felt even worse while i was driving bout an hour later got a text saying 'your not coming back are you?'

tho on the other hand excuses and leave are the way forward in that situation because if there house is filthy and they dont give a shit then they are unlikely to be any different in the personal hygiene department  |

mate thats awful. especially as part of a couple, i mean ive slept in some crazy places and i do mean crazy, but if i had a partner and i rocked up in a place like that i think i'd actually get pissed off.
its just strange in this day and age. i mean your house can be a mess and not dirty, know what i mean???
i kick my trainers off in front of the telly and leave a few beer bottles out but dirt is dirt, and maybe its my background but i cant cook or sleep in a dirty gaff.

Thankfully its never happened to us, well we've only been to one couples house anyway, but I, like the OP, would feel very embarrassed to actually be rude and say sorry your house is too dirty. Id have to make some kind of excuse, but im not sure what. Like the OP id probably make an excuse and run off, I know id feel too embarrassed to say that the house was too dirty for me.
I am a clean freak anyway, I love cleaning, its very therapeutic, but im like a mad woman if I know that people are coming around. Id be there all day cleaning and replacing all the air fresheners to new ones, there is no excuse.
I dont know if its true that people who have a dirty house are not hygienic in themselves, I guess some arent. Its certainly not true that dirty people carry STI's - anyone can have an STI, its got absolutely nothing to do with hygiene. |

I am a messy person, and it stresses me out to have to tidy the house in order to receive guests.
Hence I prefer meeting at hotels instead.
With rooms at Travelodge as low as 9.00 GBP per night, it is worth it.
And my local one is just 10min walk down the road from home, which means I can come home and check up on the pets if required.
Alarm clock set to book a few nights when the rooms go on sale at 06:00h tomorrow morning! |

I could never ever invite someone to my home if it was a shithole.
If someone calls uninvited then they take me as they find me but my lounge is always tidy so no problem.
I can be messy if i think no one will turn up.
But if guests are expected then its spotless. along with my bed and bedding and myself. |

im alil confused why hes now raking up summit that happened almost 10 year ago as hes 30 and said was young 20s at time ????!!!!
plus easiest way to avoid issue is to have ppl at yours as your single .but as you dont accomm then book a hotel ! saves grief ,issues and ranting ...simples ! |

I have 2 kittens, not always the most well behaved, and 3 cats so my house does not smell the best but i do clean up any mess. My house is tidy, i do my housework, i cannot stand a mess and i wouldnt invite someone round without making sure it was tidy, i put fresh sheets on my bed and take them off after a meet. If i invite someone round, i always warn them and apologise for the smell, if they have pets themselves, they would know anyway, no-one yet has said they wouldnt come back because of it. Lets face it if its tidy and its obvious i do try, no-one can comment. On the other hand ive been to a single guys house and it was a pigsty, the sink full of dirty dishes that it was obvious they had been there for days, butter on the side, opened and a knife still there, the lounge was awful, carpet needed throwing out, so it works both ways im afraid |

It's bad enough having to work in someone's house when you are sticking to the carpet and their dog is trying to ride you, so there's no way I'd go into a similar place for a shag.
Usually (not always) the outside of the house can give that vital clue ..
Whilst on the subject, I have to go to a job tomorrow morning to change 5 light fittings (One being in the bloody bathroom !) and fit a new immersion heater element. When I called at this place earlier in the week to check out the job, it was choking with fag smoke, strewn with empty cans of Kestral super strength lager and 2 mainge ridden dogs which never stopped barking, accompanied by the man of the house (in between belching, coughing and asking his wife what day of the week it is) shouting shaaaaaddddup you fucking bastards ...

Fortunately it's a contract job for an 3rd party, so it's 100 quid labour + materials, so the quicker I get out the better it is for both my health and my bank balance.

We have two kids in our house andit can be messy. for our last meet we spent 3 days making sure everything was perfect that i wouldnt even let himsef sit on the couch incase he got it dirty. if we couldnt get the house to the way i expect to the clean, we go to a hotel. i hope you have had no more problems since then |

PMSL you're not far off - about 2 miles away and begins with a 'B'. Famous for their terriers ..
Joking aside, I've been, done the job, had a GOOD bath, but you know something ?
2 nicer and more grateful people you'd ever wish to meet. Rough as the roads, and dare I say it, no hopers, but so grateful that I got their lights and hot water working for them.
Quite a humbling experience in a funny sort of way |

It is not just in swinging this happens.
I met a girl through work and we became good mates, and I was eventually invited over one weekend so the children could play. She had said to me “dont expect a palace” and I did not, expecting a normal lived in family home.
We got there and it was terrible.
There was a mountain of washing in the corner of the living room and the sofa cushions had no covers on them and were just dirty foam. She asked me to excuse the sofa as she had washed them a few weeks ago and had not had time to put them back on!
Empty plates and cups were piled on top of each other on the table and there were kids toys all over which I expected, but they were filthy and covered in food and god knows what else.
The funny thing was, she actually took a lot of pride in her own appearance and was always so well turned out.
