I remember reading about this a while ago. As well as the fact a woman can produce milk without being pregnant, stimulating lactation outside of pregnancy also increases the breast size if she produces enough. I guess it simulates pregnancy in terms of thinking its preparing for breastfeeding a baby when its born. I started producing/leaking colostrum about 8 weeks before both babies were born.
Never encouraged or stimulated it though as the colostrum is the most important bit for babies.
The idea of someone suckling on my tits at that point made my skin crawl as not only would it use up the colostrum and bring in the milk, but there's also a risk of inducing early labour.

I started producing/leaking colostrum about 8 weeks before both babies were born.
Never encouraged or stimulated it though as the colostrum is the most important bit for babies.

I don't see why lactation should be reserved solely for motherhood and feeding babies, any more than sex should be reserved solely for the act of making babies.
I have been involved in an 'Adult Nursing Relationship' with a close friend for many years, and I find adult breastfeeding to be a highly erotic experience.

I lactated for my partner, and wasn't pregnnt at all. I had a LOT of milk come in and found it fairly easy to be honest, though it's true you do need to stimulate your breasts and nipples daily. I work full time but I managed!
