"Nooo I love accents but s.a doesn't do it, it's like a mad German Australian hybrid "
But that depends on weather you're talking about "Afrikaans" or "English" South African accent, two very different accents |

My friends husband is south African....his accent has mellowed after being here for a long time....he does become quite broad when getting angry |

I must be an odd one.
Every time a "favourite accent" thread starts people come out with Geordie, Yorkshire, etc, and there doesn't seem to be much love for the Aussie accent, yet I'm the other way around.
Love the Aussie drawl but can't stand any accent between London and Scotland. Literally makes my skin crawl.

Different parts would have different accents and I doubt all of them are horrible |

Again I stress the South African accent can be that heavy Afrikaans(Dutchman accent) accent, or the English accent that is often confused with kiwi or Aussie. |
