The frequent profile change would have me thinking it is a guy posing as a woman....in fact many unsolicited messages turn out to be just that in my experience..

Yeah, they happen - all about catching someone's eye I guess. I've had a few, don't be disheartened or overly encouraged if you get them though.

The fakes have stopped for me since putting on filters which stop new and unverified profiles messaging me.
