What do you think the signs of 'getting old' are...lately I'm finding younger peoples arrogance really really irritating..I even see some signs on here of people thinking they are 'owed' or 'deserve' things...or blowing their out of tune trumpets..
I'm sure it 'dint' used to be as bad.. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
As well as thinking I could be their mother and not understanding the language used the clearest sign that I am getting older is that I am now outwith the age range for many more people.

I used to have sex all the time in bed and stop for the occasional cuppa break to draw breath.
Now I have cuppas all the time in bed and occasionally put the mug down for sex lol.
Not through choice I may add!

I got my first major sign yesterday!!
(I ignore the fact that my body can't do certain things that it could years ago!!)
So I went to the opticians, I have always been short sighted.
But when I got my eyes tested, not only am I short sighted, but old age was creeping in and now I am slightly Long sighted as well.
Good job I enjoy using my hands and like to be tactile with my fingers. |

Entitlement. It's the curse of 21st century 'attitude' class. That, coupled with an inability to be nice, all to often seem to drive the values of this current generation. Not all of course, but increasingly the majority.
Hey ho.

I'm becoming really laid back as I've gotten older, nothing seems to bother me these days.super chilled.
Downside is I get more messages from my lower end of my age limit and I haven't plucked up courage to meat a 25 year old yet

I refuse to get old. But my knees crack. Bit embarrasing when getting them around someones shoulders. Your as young as you feel. Buy hair dye in bulk now |

Yeah I can't drink larger anymore...
And wine sends me to sleep, but....
I'm far more relaxed, never stress, very comfortable with who I am....
Confidence, willingness to try, to explore, I rush less.... Take my time more... |

I felt my years when the people I worked with last week had obviously been discussing how old I was and had nominated someone to ask me we then discovered I was older than every single one of their parents.
When we discuss our plans and we both realise that 70 is closer than 40.
When the dentist goes to x-Ray a tooth and doesn't ask if I'm pregnant.
I quite like being the age I am though and its far better than the alternative. |

"I find my self being really intolerant and it annoys me.
Things that wouldn't have irritated me years ago. . Really piss me off now. "
I'm the complete opposite ~ trivial things that used to piss me off now don't bother me at all, in fact not much does!
