I can understand OP's confusion as a similar thing happened to me a couple of months ago.
I received and e-mail from fab informing me of a wink - and even giving me the username of the winker, but when I checked my winks, there were no new ones and none from the aforementioned user.
Now I would also agree that the most likely reason for a wink not showing up would be either UNLOS or winker blocking, but in this case the user was still active and had not blocked me.
I therefore suspected there may have been a system error somewhere, as to my knowledge, it is not possible to un-wink. |

It took a while to arrive so I didn't think you meant to me. When I just saw a wink my hopes were raised for a bit ... until I remembered!
