Does anyone else remember when people on this site met to have sex and have a laugh and enjoy the scene.
So full of attitude and whinging
"don't send cock pics" i don't
"read my profile" i do
"no pic no chat" it makes no odds
"not meeting" yawn
"not looking for new" usually lack any let alone new
"picky" usually means they don't meet
"do this that or the other and you will be blocked" yawn
and if you challenge any of this??

So true any one use rendezvous in the 80s send a polaroid and a letter get one back meet fuck no regrets or judgement this is so painful and crushing was so nice before internet |

You only have to look at peoples profiles and read their veris or to see that they meet,
But if I didn't have preferences on who I wanted to meet I probably could be meeting every night |

Lots of people up themselves on here, I agree with you . Still plenty that like a giggle though.
I find I get to know people in the chat rooms better. Not necessarily the directing room as it's full of wankers...literally lol. But the regional rooms are good for a bit of friendly banter.
I often look for something witty on a profile and always feel obliged to comment. As you said, it should be fun as well as sexy

I have a theory why we always think the past was better than the present.
We were younger,so experiences were newer and therefore more vivid. As we age the highs become less high so we think the past was better.
I have read Diary of a Secret Swinger set in the 80s and the picture painted in the book although very entertaining certainly conflicts with the Ops opinion. |

I thought you were talking pre internet!
When you sent a letter to a po box. The tip was to also send a stamped sae. I managed a few meets like that.
Then with the mobile phone taking off, it added a whole new dimension! Magazines with phone numbers in. Able to text and hope for a reply. Also had meets that way.
Then came websites, some I joined prior to this one and had meets. Joined fab and still have meets. Not dozens, admittedly, but quality over quantity!
The good old days? Still good as far as I'm concerned!
