Oh yeah I like anime too but not massively into it, I prefer the older 90's style to the big eyed soft ones of today but there's still good ones.
Watched list is:
Girls und panzer.
Attack on titan.
Highschool of the dead.
Ghost in the Shell.
Started on full metal alchemist but not finished yet.

we are both massive geeks hahaha
huge fans of DC and Marvel to which we collect comics + graphic novels, plus love the movies (except the Batman trilogy they was just rubbish, for huge Batman fans like us anyway) and Flash collects figures and has over 100 all still in original packaging
We also love anime: Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball, Ghost in the Shell, high School of the Dead, Ikki tousen, Pokemon and too many others to mention lol Nia collects Pokemon cards and loves the Pokemon games
Quite love Sci-Fi with Star Wars at the very top of the list
besides the fact that Nia has about 15-20 pairs of undies from Marvel/DC characters (Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Spider-Man plus others lol) those not including thongs and frilly knickers hahaha
pretty much we both love to Read, watch and collect a lot of Geeky stuff and thats the best thing about christmas and birthday gifts cause we know exactly the stuff each other likes lol

Horrendously geek here!
Both a Marvel and Dc fan, though Marvel slightly more. Though Dark Horse have Hellboy so probably them over both the others.
Also massive Sci-if/horror movie geek.

During the nineties Dark Horse were the only comic worth reading. Certainly helped push Marvel and DC into darker directions |

ex-startrek fan(tng,ds9,some voyager),enterprise ruined it all.
not a fan of british scifi..such as Dr who.
I HATE reality TV with a vengeance.
I love films about AI..and particularly impressed with the recent films automata,the machine,ex-machina(so glad I finally seen this a cpl nites ago).
I like the technical aspects of CGI...I'm amazed a film like district 9 still outshines many of the most recent sci-fi blockbusters
love stephen hawking, and the field he works in...while I dont mind Prof Brian Cox..it somewhat annoys me of the popularity being based on his looks!

Completely agree, it would be amazing.
But the companies wouldn't be able to make the arrangements over movie rights.
And less likely to happen until Marvel gain all their rights to their characters.
But they have just made a deal with Sony for Spider-Man so we shoe see (at least in cameo) Spider-Man in maybe the next captain America movie maybe more in the Next (double part) Avengers movie.
Also...
Have you seen the superhero release schedule for the next 5/6 years!
If done correctly, then an amazing line up of films.
But sadly no time to fit in the crossover yet. |

Marvel n Dc are ok but IDW, Boom and Dark Horse are knocking them out the park. I don't read superhero comics (except the important ones - killing joke, man without fear, death in the family. Stuff like that.) But enjoy the wierder short run tales say one shots, 6-8 issues.
Everyone should read the black metal trilogy. \m/
I watch superhero movies as i saw superman the movie as a kid (trouble is its never been beaten) and some of the tv series - agent carter, constantine and the supergirl pilot i enjoy.
I go to cons, done two so far this year have three on the horizon, maybe more to follow.
So apart from movies, comics, certain tvshows, music, zines and art i'm not too geeky. |

I liked it! it was easy and fun, my son loved it (he's 12) and his female friends liked it, which probably more the audience the were looking for than 40 yr old men.
Really am not keen on most of the comics based tv shows.
Except agent carter which is like a female lobster johnson show  and i lived the cancelled constantine show too. |

We all did a little happy dance in our house when we found out about Spider Man (house full of saddos lol). Need to look at the film releases tho.

And I know that Marvel are now helping Sony out with a New Spiderman movie.

Yep big geek here and proud love marvel and dc, star trek, star wars dr who all scifi really. superman and batman fav dc characters so new film will be intresting. Loved the arrow and the flash series too. And was blown away by last avengers film better than the first but been a fan of josh wheldon since buffy really. Plus been watching agents of shield in between. |
