I'm surprised she managed to keep the numbers accurate up to 200. I tried counting but lost count between 60 to 70, just lost interest at counting and memorising the numbers. Women in sex industry can easily shag over a thousand without much effort guess. |

Does it really matter. Hmm maybe yes and maybe no. You might have an example of a couple who met really young and were incredibly experimental and their tally was 1 each. Or you might find someone else who was incredibly attractive and slept with lots of people but only liked missionary.
It depends on level of experience more than number of notches on the bed.  |

Normal is not the word you're looking for. I'd go with usual or average amount of sex. On here 200 could be seen as normal for a woman,11 a result for a man. |

Got to ask why it's so important to know the number of people someone has had sex with?
Is it a game, or a competition? And what's the prize?
Speaking for myself I am not keeping score and don't ask for verification, to prove anything to anyone.
I agree with the stud/slag argument if 2 people have had the same number of partners it's their affair, no one else's so, am not into being a hypocrite. |

I go by the theory that its not how many people you have sex with, its how many people would want to have sex with you again. Quantity is no guarantee of quality |

Would have to say that it does become an issue if you are wanting to 'date' a person that has not been on the scene or is not a liberated adult. The number of partners you have in this instance DOES matter to them. Not so much on here but the in the vanilla world we are seen as slags! And I'm referring to male and female alike; not stereotyping.  |

Normal for me is well into four figures.
However the one time I caught something it was from someone who had only slept with one other person. 
There is no such thing as normal, there is average and there is common but 'normal' is a social construct which confines, limits and scares people. |

Seriously though, I guess it depends - plenty of fussy people on here who have a contradictory amount of partners. Plenty of the opposite too I guess. Not one for labels, so I guess I don't worry and try to avoid certain types / people for my own reasons, as most do. |

"Normal" is a crappy word to use but you could talk about average. 200 is way above average, but there are plenty of things in life where we are going to be above or below average, it might be height, IQ, earnings, years married, etc. etc.
As long as you take a Sex Positive view about the number of sexual partners and don't Slut Shame her for it, it's not a problem. People calling her a slapper etc., are Sex Negative, and who wants to sleep with someone who will try to make you feel shameful about your past history? |

Its fairly recently that I stopped being able to count on fingers and toes for male and female combined.
I have been in 4 monogamous relationships (well from my side anyway) for 16 years in total since I was 16, and I'm 38, so probably not many. But for me there has to be a real connection.
I've never had a one night stand, and don't intend to either.
