I am not the tallest of guys either, doing the dating thing I would only message women shorter than myself. There was a similar thread on here a little while ago, women said it was about not wanting to feel big against their man, can understand that as I prefer someone smaller than myself |

It matters to some, it doesn't matter to others. Forget those who are looking for the 6 footers and concentrate your efforts on those whose criteria you do fit. Simples, your fab experience will improve heaps. |

Being over 6ft definitely has its +/-'s ... Although I do tend to find I like women shorter than me lol
Am always banging my head - this is a definite minus .... however a big plus (sometimes) is you can easily spot me in a crowd
... But laying down I must admit I have never noticed it makes a difference .. I wonder why lol |

Anything under 5'5 to me is a bit too short as I like my men taller than me (Mr is an inch shorter than me but he makes up for it every where else haha)if I was looking alone I'd want men over 6'0 but we want men 5'7-6'0 |

I've not only been with tall guys, and i don't find all tall guys attractive, but yes if i fancied someone and they were tall then they'd become very appealing to me. I do prefer tall guys and have mainly been with men over 6ft 2 on this site. |

To be honest the question of "Is Height A Problem" is the same as.
Is Thin A Problem
Is Fat A Problem
Is White A Problem
Is Black A Problem
Is Blonde A Problem
Is Brunette A Problem
Etc etc.... The fact is, all of the above are not a problem but a preference to what people like. It comes down to "What Actually Is Normal". There is no normal.
However all of the above means that people are shared out equally.
There are some women who say white only
There are some women who say black only
Some guys prefer brunettes and other blode.
Some like skinny rakes and some like something to hold on to.
Some like bush and some like blair (I mean shaved or different styles.
We are white and have seen people on here that match our profile and we think, this is looking promising, then they say something like on only meet black people. Simple, we move on. It is not like there is a shortage of swingers.
We know one day we will find a couple that totaly matches us and we will have a great time. Rather then concentrate on the people who are not interested in you have a look for the people that are.
Easy....
Ok as per yet we have met a few people who are just our type. The only problem is that if we get really good friends with people the friendship out weighs the swinging as we would not want to risk a good friendship.
So as long as we know that the couple we are friends with are cool with swinging and will not feel awkward after then we are cool. We have only found that there has been a problem when the other couple are not in a fully trusting relationsip. We are fully comfortable in ours and know what each other want. So waiting to find the right couple is important to us.
So if someone says you are too short there will be someone else who likes tall people to the point of saying "Lanky Gits" lol.
It is all choice. Not a problem. Do not let it become a problem.
It is only a problem when you let it become one.

My personal preference is for a really tall man,over 6ft + ..... But that doesn't mean I wouldn't meet a man shorter than that, it's just a preference.
What does make my blood boil is when a profile says oh yeah I'm 6ft 4..... Turn up for a meet and they are actually shorter than me! I'm 5ft 3 .... Did they not think I would notice! and no the we are all the same lying down line does not cut it!!! |

I'm short I don't really care it's who I am and if someone doesn't like it so be it and move on. It doesn't make much of a difference in bed you just have to be creative tbh.

It's well documented by study after study, that the overwhelming majority of women prefer men to be taller than them, usually by about 4 inches at least, so they can wear heels (the women).
It is what it is. Leg extension surgery is prohibitively expensive. Work on other aspects of your physique, personality and education to maximise your opportunities. |

So why is it that normally the guy is taller than the woman - at a risk of seeming sexist is it some evolutionary throw-back where the lady is secretly looking for a male who can protect her?

I am not the tallest bloke in the world at a massive 5' 5" however it has never been a problem.
Whilst it has not been an issue that interests me most women I have dated were taller than me.
I realise that women invariably prefer their guys to be taller but thankfully it has never proven to be a deal breaker in my experience.
Now I myself very happily married to Mrs J who towers above 6' in her heels! We probably look like the most bizarre couples but we are not bothered.

I tend to feel that smaller guys will often believe that a rejection is due to their height.
In some cases they will be right but more often a good personality, dress style, confidence, moderate good looks will more than compensate.
Whilst guys will totally focus on something like big boobs women seem (in my experience at least) to be much less fixated on one single attribute. |

In my experience, height is only an issue if you let it be one.
Sometimes, it doesn't make you more attractive being tall but makes the woman feel more attractive when being with tall guys. For example, things like: wearing heels and feeling petit and dainty, especially if the woman stands at 5'10" barefoot.
Some women like the closer eye contact with a shorter guy and the intimacy that brings. Some women like tiptoeing to get a kiss. Women will want different things at different times.
