Do you like to see verifications? Personally I really don't want to read what others might think of someone I might want to meet. Takes away the intimacy and special feeling of meeting someone new in my opinion. |

I check there are some there, beyond that I don't read them.
To me, they show someone shows up and is what they say.
I don't like any that are too graphic.

Yep, I read them. First to make sure they are who they say they are (definitely a couple not a single guy for example), that they've had a recent meet and to see if they sound like someone we'd get on with if the profile has interested us.
That, coupled with how the messages go, help us determine if we want to meet |

I've got in the habit of displaying ones from the last few months. I used to not show any since the fact they exist on someone's profile is all I need and I rarely read them but I got sick of being called a fake for hiding mine. Damned if you do, damned if you don't so if mine put people off then we weren't right to meet anyway. |

i just note they have one, or some...beyond that i dont care....if there are loads it puts me off..i only display the fact i have some..beyond that i see no reason for anyone to need a graphic review.. |

I don't mind to see them before a meet, but they are basically the same.

to be honest..I'd call it jealousy/control if someone has issues over whats been written(unless its of something they arent particularly fond of).
While verifications arent the be all n end all, I'd worry if someone thinks reading who I've mets verification would take away the 'intimacy' I'd have with them.
generally I'd tell anyone to fuck off if they have a problem with me displaying whatever I like to display, pics,veris,forum posts...etc. |

I check all veris and then some of theres. Ive know of ppl having fake veris so will try and make sure they are true veris. Well as much as i can any way.

You may not like verifications but if you haven't had one after eight months of being on the site many would regard that as proof that you haven't had any meets at all and will continue to pass you by. |

I read them. Gives me an idea that they are what they say (man/woman) but thars all. I do cross ref them - check veris of veris as well.
What they don't do is tell you whether they will actually turn up or not. |

Veri’s are good for one thing only and that’s to see if someone is genuine and bothers to turn up. Lets face it the profiles over 6 months old without a veri means the likelihood of that person turning up is possibly zilch. So veri's are a useful tool.
We show only a selection of ours just to show we are genuine and wont let people down at meets, no point in showing them all because as most have already said they are basically all the same. |

No, I definitely read them, if someone's been on here a year+ and they haven't had a single meet, then I'd grow suspicious.
Let's put it this way - this'll sound like I'm objectifying people, I'm not! - if I'm buying something online, I'll read reviews of whatever I want to buy to get a feel for things. If you're meeting someone online I think it's a similar thing. |

Unlike many people, we don't use Fab as a 'chat site' but actually want to meet. With the ever increasing amount of fakes and timewasters, verifications are an important tool in ing them out. Not perfect but a good tool at least. |

I read them just enough to see that anyone we are thinking of meeting have met and played before.....we are not interested in endless socials, webcam veri's or people who haven't met in the last six months - other than that we don't really take any notice of them |

Some of us dnt want them dnt care abt em and are happy to meet have fun and leave it at that, why should i write a veri or accept one when they have no value to me? How do you know they have never had a meet ? For all anyone knows they may be out meeting every night of the week , they just don't need or want anyone else knowing their business and will meet people who have a brain of their own to decide whether or not to meet them without the need to rely on someone else's opinion of them. |

I don't need to know all the details of a lady or couple's past meets but a few verifications that people have met them and enjoyed their time is certainly helpful.
Sometimes the verification summary with a handful of published verifications is better than a string of 30+ veri's. |

I have no issue with the number of people a woman has slept with. I know that for some of my partners it's well into the hundreds. But o don'tnnecessarily need to see 100 verifications to know someone is real and likely to turn up. 10 verifications and the summary tells me that. |
