Probably the silicone ones are best - as there is a little bit of stretch to them. Metal ones look good as long as they fit snugly without cutting off the blood supply.
My preference is jubilee clips - can tighten them to the desired comfort. Only joking...! Honest. |

In my experience they are really quite different. I have various in my toybox (for various partners) and although the stretchy ones feel nice and do things like pushing the balls foward, they don't provide the same constriction as a well fitting metal one. But you must measure and get the smallest size that will fit when it comes to metal. |

I have a few but my favourite is an adjustable studded leather strap. It looks and feels great and the stud fastener enables quick release. Being adjustable I can manage how much it constricts rather than the ring doing it.  |

No they don't get stuck.
I occasionally use a rubber one. Lots of give and don't forget, your hard on will eventually go down, even with a cock ring.
