Message to reply ratio

Out of approximately my last 50 messages that I have sent out, I have had maybe 1 reply which then decided to go cold mid-conversation.

Now I consider myself a fairly good looking lad, I'm no Brad Pitt but I certainly ain't no Sloth from Goonies either, and the messages was tailored and respectful, and I match their criteria, so that brings me to question: Where am I going wrong?!? I would say my profile is fine, but if anyone can find something that could be the problem then I would love to hear it!

You may consider yourself to be good looking but that doesn't mean everyone else does, we all have different preferences and types that we like.

Arrogance, perhaps? You have a couple of verifications, so you are not doing too bad.

Without knowing what messages you send, it is hard to judge.

Your profile text does sound a bit "me, me, me," to me and you do only have one public bum photo.

I found less is more and make the letter meet the folks profile.

I still only get a reply on 10 to 1 but you can't expect better really as the women and couples are snowed under with messages from bloks.

I would say for every 5 messages that we send out, we'll get on average about 2/3 that reply back.

i'm sloths ugly brother my profile is shit and i send 10 fancy my cocksnot up ya fartpipe messages a day, i get lots of replies and sometimes have 5 convos on the go at same time and i'm still on the forums! go figure eh?

I'd suggest you use sitesbsuch as this for a bit of light entertainment.

If you want to meet real people you would do better to attend socials or clubs.

If on the other hand you have endless time to waste carry on with the messages.

Exactly.

There's other stuff that puts me off as well, but i don't like to give too many clues. I feel people have no success for a reason.

Obviously if guys mail me and I mail them back they reply but I've never had a single reply from a guy I have never spoken to before who I have made the first move on

I mailed one guy asking if he wanted a 3sum with me and a bi guy I meet as he said he was after bi MMF, I send him the profile name of the guy so he could look at him pics and he mailed my friend for a meet but didn't reply to me

Gutted could have least let me watch seeing as I send him his profile

There may well be nothing wrong with your messages...i was at a party on the weekend and one of the single ladies showed me her inbox...she had in excess of 1400 messages..in a week!..how on earth can anyone go through all of them?...

Reminds me that in the forums on POF a while back the same topic came up and one of the admins put that most guys get 1 reply per 30 to 100 first contact emails. Wonder what stats are on here.

Simple solution- don't send any. Saves all those frustrating no-show meets too, I find.

Well, your profile has a couple of anomalies that would make us hesitate.

The first is fairly easy to spot... "cannot accom".

Sure, there are loads of reasons why a guy might not be able to accom, but for us, first thing that comes to mind is "attached".

Second is a bit less obvious...you are not friends with the one meet you have had? I don't know why, but we find that a bit odd?
