When replying in a negative fashion to a request from a single guy we were expected to be swayed by the offer of a bottle of champagne - really ! Would anyone lower their standards with the promise of a bottle of bubbly ??

We were invited to a guys house for champagne years ago from another site and when we got there it was Cava. I didn't care because I love Cava but I don't know why he just didn't say that instead of thinking champagne made it a more attractive proposition. |

Can't stand shampers and I don't drink anyway (well, extremely rarely, and then only one glass), so the simple answer is 'No'
To be perfectly honest, if I'm not interested in someone (don't fancy them etc) there isn't really anyway they would persuade me anyway.
And, from another perspective, I would want someone to want to play with me because of me and not for any gifts they might like me to bring - if you get where i'm coming from. |
