We want the excitement of the beginning of getting to know someone and the sex but perhaps frightened of failure to announce to our friends and families that we have failed again if it doesn't work out .Its easier to keep people at arms length under the veil of filthy sex and no commitment.I assume a lot of us would prefer a lasting relationship.
My sister says to me al the time " when are you going to meet a really nice lady "

I'm on my third marriage , but it's my wife's first .
The reason we swing is for me I guess third time lucky, as neither of May previous wives would have entertained the idea .

Been married twice, first time I was stupidly young and thought that's what you do, for better or worse and all that jazz....I just had no idea how worse his worse could get! |

We have both been married previously. (Not to each other) Everyone learns from their mistakes.
We are happier than ever with or without swinging and don't want to change something that isn't broken.

I'm on my second marriage, it's my husband's first.
First marriage lasted only a few months. Been with second husband ten years.
We've only just started to get involved in swinging.
I think lots of swingers have multiple marriages purely because lots of people have multiple marriages!
Lots of people get divorced. |

Never been marriage... don't believe I need to get married to someone in order to express that I like them. |

Long time divorced but good friends with ex. Would consider marrying again but it isn't a must...You know when these things are right...though it could be argued that isn't true when it has been cocked up once before!...Older though and wiser [er, possibly...] |

Perhaps more multiple marriages outbids ire than others due to " learning from experience "
However I was married for a decade x met someone else x
Got divorced x

I've just divorced my second hubby then I joined fab swingers because being married I didn't get any sex. Now have a fantastic sex life and still more to come   |

Gonna be on our first marriage in a couple years, so far together 5years and can't see us being with anyone else haha. We're just too mental and can just tolerate each other as it is haha |

Both on our second marriage here. We both decided after unhappy experiences first time around that we'd be completely honest about what we wanted from our sex lifes, and that made the journey into the happy swinging couple we are much easier than it otherwise might be |

We've been married to each other for 36 and still just as much in love as ever. Been swinging for about 6 years and loving the lifestyle and the social side. Doubt we would have been mature enough to do it when we were much younger. |
