Constantly needing to be reassured that what they are doing is right, that they fit in, that other people agree with them, always seeking approval. |

I find it takes a self confident guy to appreciate a strong minded woman . A lot can't handle a woman who can hold her own and has valid opinions that may differ from there own . |

"Opposites attract? Do strong women prefer easier going men?"
Speaking only for myself no. I like a man who I can spar with (mentally of course) who isn't always thinking I need to defer to him or vice versa, who likes to talk to me as an equal and gives no quarter and expects none to be given. |

"Opposites attract? Do strong women prefer easier going men?"
I do.
I'm dominant in everything, life and sexually (although i don't mind not being dominant sexually sometimes), so need a chill guy who will go with my flow.
I'm not a control freak and easy going myself, but for relationships (friends and lovers) they have to be chill to handle me. If they were strong willed i wouldn't cope with them.
I actually tend to like slightly needy guys as well, love how they look to me for advice or reassurance occasionally. |

This makes sense to me and not just because I'm a chilled type of guy. Being relaxed and easy going doesn't mean you are mentally weak it just means you know what to get excited about and what it is futile to kick against. |

"Opposites attract? Do strong women prefer easier going men?"
No I prefer no man in my life
I couldn't imagine sharing my life with anyone now I've gotten used to my own space and the fact I can do what I like
I've spent more time as an adult single that with someone, only ever had one relationship in my life, tried it, didn't like it so its single life for me now |

Apparently I intimidate guys, stupidly independent, self motivated and not prepared to be messed around. Guys kinda love it, want to be with me, then try to change me into some meek woman.
Still single, can't find anyone to interest me on all sorts of levels. |

I've found that it has actually acted as a hindrance... I bought my first house at 21 and have worked mainly in the construction industry in a site management role (I am a Civil Engineer specialising in contract and construction management) I have never... Been engaged/married or lived with anyone... In fact the guys on my first site had my monthlys marked down on their urm 'graphic' calendar on the wall in the site canteen so they could keep out of my way !!? it definitely isn't a turn on to many ??

Relationships often work if the people in them compliment each other. My best friend has a similar personality to my lovers too. I agree being chill, or even submissive, doesn't make you mentally weak either.
My last two partners were both mentally stronger than me but let me be the dominant one in the relationship because they didn't mind going with my flow, it suited them. One relationship ended when i had to be the needy one for a change, he wasn't capable of being the dominant for that time and i got fed up and left him because we didn't compliment each other for that time. |

I'm not feisty, bolshy or strong minded. I'm not a pushover though but I like fitting together nicely with a strong minded man,who is focused and confident. I'm not a wall flower but I'm not a stroll into the room and try to take over woman. |

God no, I'd lose respect and walk all over a weak-willed man, though 'underplayed confidence' is fine - I don't mind someone who stays centred while I bounce off the walls!

"I admire mental strength, focus and intelligence in a woman, but she needs to have some vulnerability too, otherwise why would she even need me?"
In my opinion strength lies in knowing your vulnerabilities but only revealing them to someone you trust. |

I like the old proverb
'A string man masters his strength, a wise man masters his weakness'
Substituting man for woman of course
Regardless, I'd walk barefoot across broken glass for the right woman. |

I agree, but it has to be reciprocated to become truly strong.
Also
"A string man masters his strength"
Doh! |

I do think a lot on here are intimidated by me in my local area, so where some like a strong woman who knows her mind, a lot feels it is to much.
Though I will admit, I do need a man to keep me on my toes, probably why I am still single |

Strength is important, but also is the strength and wisdom to know when to compromise. I wouldn't want to spend my life fighting and bickering with the woman I love. |

Same me too.
I don't like "wet" people.
Someone who just agrees with me all the time drives me nuts.
I like an element of bitch. |

"Is anyone else on here attracted to Mentally-Strong, determined and confident women or is it just me? "
No, you are the only man in the world that finds that attractive
I was explaining to someone the other day that I find a purposeful walk on a woman a major turn on.
Hate to see women meandering...a fast, determined walk does it for me. I will watch a woman walk by with purpose, for far longer than a cute ass

I like them because there tends to be way less head games.
I can't stand all the passive aggressive crap people do especially guilt tripping.
I find that women who have their own life and goals and ambitions tend not to do that childish stuff |

Being strong and being easy going are not mutually exclusive or opposite to each other...I've always been very independent and taken care of myself but am essentially easy going too... |

Yes, same goes for men. Self esteem and emotional strength help a person feel secure I think which means they don't use all that stuff in their relationships. |
