Hi all, just been browsing the 'meet today' section. Received a one sentence message from a guy saying just "u not interested?", who'd presumably seen I'd viewed his profile.
When I asked if we'd spoken before, his reply was "I'll block you, pic hunter" and did just that!
Now had I written to him asking for pics or made the initial contact then fine, but his message was unsolicited and I'd had no contact with him before..strange some guys seem to think that if you view their profile and aren't interested you must be a pic hunter-I'm, shamefaced lol   |

and so you should be ashamed of yourself, you know you should know if you want to meet someone before you look at their profile! Off to the stocks with you so you can be pelted with over ripe tomatoes!!! |

he called you a pic hunter? surely he meant a pic collector?
unless he insinuated you sneak around woodlands with a shot gun and deer stalker saying " be vewy vewy quite...im hunting pictures. hur hur hur hurhur!"
so i take it your gutted to be blocked and have toys from pram thrown at you. lol  |

We all have block buttons and can use them as we like. He maybe thought that as you were not interested, by blocking you, thats one less profile he searches through in the future.... and saves mailing you, so saving your time too.
As we are all individuals, we all use the site in the way that we want to, not as people expect us to.
Just my 2 cents worth

I absolutely agree Steve, but it wasn't being blocked that was the problem, it was his reasons for it!
I hadn't said I wasn't interested, I just asked him if we'd chatted before because his approach message ("u interested") had come from left field-his response was not to answer the question, but to accuse me of "pic hunting" and blocking me, simply for viewing his profile..the funny thing is I might have been interested if he'd responded positively and had something about him, but he didnt hang around long enough to find out!  |

Not at all having a go at single guys, I'm sharing a funny story with everyone about one who didn't even wait long enough to see if I'd be interested in meeting him.

To some people it's the power of being able to block people that gives them a power kick. You see loads of profiles where people say do x, y or z and I will block you - why?
I was thrown out of Quantico before I passed my FBI behavoural science exams for setting up an FBI swingers club (what's wrong with that?) so that's as much as I can say..... Shame my uncle Freud is dead or I could have asked him to flesh this post out for me...

lol - yep - I'm sure that some people see a profile and think 'nah - not compatible' and just block them - regardless of location! Bizarre! We've had some cracking messages too like - 'we be free 2nite - u wont to fuk'? We just reply politely saying no thanks! Should keep them for posterity! Z |

The funniest message I have had recently (from someone I had NOT messaged and NOT even looked at their profile) was a 'thanks but no thanks' which went on to state they were not interested.
Takes all types to make a world.
