Back in the 80's when I was young, single and meeting girls I never came across anyone shaved. My mates never came across anyone shaved and no one ever mentioned it. No one ever said pubes where gross, unhygienic, eewww  unclean etc. etc. it was normal to have pubes and what you expected when you met a sexually mature woman. Since we've been swinging we are now trimmed and quite like it, but do find it odd that some people find the natural look so outright disgusting. The pubic triangle of a woman is very sexy but since we've been swinging we've got used to not seeing one anymore. Often I think its because some younger men have never seena women with pubes and they imagine them having a thick furry rug.
