At what point do veri's go from being encouraging to off putting!
I understand the whole veri thing and it is good to see them on profiles, plus can HELP to prove the profile is genuine.
However at what point do the numbers start to become cringworthy? |

well - it depends on the person with them. I have seen size 10's with all the allure of Monroe with literally 100's that you would never turn down if you got an invite or a hello from. Then again - I have seen profiles that have an emptied bin on their bed with only 2 verifications who I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Sometimes if u read them you see they go to socials, clubs, party's or are organisers of such, so no I don't find any ammount cringeworthy as I've got a fair few and there just me nattering 90% of the time, but if I put my summary up alot of people would assume I shag alot

They don't, a very just tell me either person meets or person just webcams, I don't care if only 1 very or a thousand, its a swingers site, I don't expect people to have just a few veris lol |

Depends.
Some see hundreds and think "god they get about a bit" and avoid if they took time to read them all they will likely see most arent from play meets but socials. The time frame over them being recieved shouls be considered also. On my old profile I had 157 verifications only 9 of which were play meets and gained in over 3 years |

I can't help but look at the amount of veri's and the length the profile's been on but I wouldn't put a number on it...
They could have one veri that say's something that could put you off your dinner or 10 that make you wanna work on that inital message you could be sending. |

For some more than 2 or 3 .
For others more .
For some they don't care how many .
We have 98 in 4 months and that's cringe worthy to some and not to others  |

I'm not really put off by the numbers, but I do look at:
Are they by meeting or by cam?
When was the most recent?
Do the verifications match with who they say they are looking for? ie Mg couples, Men, etc. |

We used to think a lot of veri's were a put off but not all of them are about 'playing' - some are just social meets. I guess read them and make your mind up from what you read |

my arguement would always be that it isn't the number of veri's that would make a profile cringeworthy... but what is written in a veri.....
plus who is going to be the arbitor of how many is too many? over what period of time? social veri's or play veri's and are you going to differentiate? ect ect |

I have to say, it depends how long you've been on, we have on for 4 years, not a lot of verifications for that amount of time, but maybe too many if people don't know how long we've been on as it only say been a member for over a year  |

I tend not to meet up with anyone new nowadays and don't write or expect verifications from people I've already met.
As far as the content is concerned, whilst it is true that a veri is unlikely to appear on a profile if it does not say nice things, they can also collectively confirm particular characteristics which build up a consistent picture that may appeal to those looking for such traits in a potential playmate. |

Very good point, I believe this site started in 2006 thus anyone's profile that says they have been a member for "over a year" could quite possibly have been a member for anything up to nine years.

But a there are some that just like using the forums, the chat rooms, and of course the picture pervs. TBH id say the majority on this site actually have no plans to meet anyone at all. |

The number of veris doesn't really put me off, after all it is a sex site and if you choose to practice safe sex then why worry when your going to have a great time.. From what I've seen a lot tend to be through social events at clubs etc but saying that there is a few around here who seen happy to pump anything who shows an interest! It's a sex site enjoy it is what I say and play safe. |

It shows you're real but doesn't tell us whether you show up to meets..
On another recent thread I read that, according to the FAQs, cam verification for men is no longer accepted, although the verification page still enables that to happen |

The only time I'm put off is when they state the man attends gang bangs,cinemas,piss parties etc. Something in my head just says no. I think it's the mindset of the man that puts me off. I don't like porn of that ilk,even though some women might enjoy what the men do to the it's not my thing. I sometimes think that the men who don't get any joy from other avenues go down that one to guarantee sex or sexual contact. I could be totally wrong but my brain is in charge. |

A cam verification should state that you saw their face/s and had a real time conversation with them. I would accept that,it's more accurate than 10 year old pics. |

ok I have no "veri's" (yet)!!!!!
But just reading some a lot are given for meetings at socials & the like..
Others are worded in ways that make you think did they or didn't they?
If you are intimidated by the amount of veri's someone has on here maybe the lifestyle isn't for you!!
Who's to say the member who only has two veri's on there profile isn't shagging God knows how many ppl at a club every night!! |

Well yes that would be different and I would read and realise this from many veri's . But serial fabber's , people that live and breath this scene, there only 'friends' are fab people and they spend their lives clocking up veri's ; these type of people are what i call 'Jeremy Kylers' and I wouldn't entertain such people... standards and all that lol
