What's the most common question asked by a non swinger when you tell them you are one?

For us it seems to be..."Doesn't it freak you out watching your partner being fucked by someone else?".
Most people we told are totally intrigued by the idea and admit to wanting to themselves, but only if they were single. |

I'm yet to be in that situation. How does a non-swinger find you are? Maybe I should try causally dropping it into a conversation with my good looking friends; might increase my pool of potential playmates x |

That's exactly what was said. "
Had this too.....particularly from work colleagues. Even though I am single! But to be honest most people make no big deal of it. Some seem a little bit jealous? Others will ask what it entails, do I go to clubs, parties etc...I simply say yes to all lol! |

I had an awkward moment at work once, bearing in mind I'm single and have been since I split with my ex 7 years ago, one of my work colleagues asked me if I would cover some of her calls so I said I couldn't as I had to go to family planning at 2pm, she looked at me and said what do you need family planning for your single
Ermmm I just said well you never know I like to be prepared |

Thought you didn't broadcast your personal life. Could have just said you had an appointment and left it at that. |

That's hardly broadcasting my personal life |

"I don't broadcast my personal life so never come across this situation
This lack of discretion is exactly why swingers have a bad name."
People talk about their sex lives all the time amongst friends. I don't see why anyone should be ashamed to say they enjoy swinging.
I was also gonna say that another question we get asked is "isn't it only old married couples that do that once they're bored with each other?" It's exactly not talking about it that keeps those negative stereotypes alive. |

I had an interesting convo with some vanilla friends about glory holes...culminating in my mate's extremely vanilla sister asking for an invite to my 50th at a swinging club in a couple of years
With regards to the discretion comments - fair dos, some folk don't discuss any aspects of their sex life with friends, some do - the majority of my mates know I'm single and enjoy recreational sex, especially at clubs...I answer their questions with generalities about what can happen rather than saying "I shagged Brian from next door whilst he was sucking Phil from No 27 and being fingered by Anna who lives up the road from your mam" |

What makes us laugh is that when talking about swinging to the husband on his own he'll say "I'd love to but the wife wouldn't have it!".
Then the wife on her own will say "I wouldn't mind but he wouldn't do it!" lol.
Talk about a lack of communication!
We often get the "I wouldn't mind but without my wife/husband", they seem to be missing the concept.
A lot seem to get up on the jealousy/insecurity thing too.
