just had a thought......bare with me
you see on both couples and single man profiles that the man is described, or describes himself as a "Mr Grey/Christian Gray" type....
bearing in mind the book is a god awful read.... and the film was a pile a shit...
is it really such a good thing that people want to be associated with this?
i just find myself cringing when i see a profile with this in it... i just past them on the grounds of taste....... |

Just where I need to be. |
I really enjoyed the film. Gave me the opportunity to have a few drinks with friends, eat lots of sweets and sit giggling at the women going ooh at parts of the film. I would rather a man be themselves rather than imitate a character. |

There are many profile names I suspect would fall foul of the Trades Descriptions Act!
Those mentioning knob size. Those using words such as sexy, fit, hard, Dom, kinky, or hot.
Those regaling some amazing talent such as magic fingers/tongue/cock, or their alleged ability to perform or enable someone to orgasm/squirt/be satisfied.
Like all these - the references to 'that film' are useful filters.
Some people's choices of profile names really don't do them any favours.

I love the books and the film. Junk food for my brain. Yum.
But I don't want a guy pretending to be him as it'd only ever be a let down!
What next, are guys going to pretend to be Magic Mike when the next film comes out in the summer? "Cos I'm a stripper innit cos I take my clothes off every day!".
Is the reverse true? Do any girls claim to be someone fictional or famous?
What would guys like? |

Some will like the franchise I guess, some won't and some will be indifferent which makes the mention of it on a profile another of fabs subtle filters.. |
