If your vanilla friends tell you the ins and outs of their sex life,,, if when your together you have a laugh about sex, if they don't take sex to seriously, if they are open to other peoples life choices in general,,, and you can trust them,,, lots to consider x |

I don't tell my friends about my sex life, my bank balance, my religious preferences nor my politics...
Some things are private.
I do have 2 friends who know what fab is - and are my back up safety net for meeting as a single lady (one was on here, one is an ex) and my current lover knows about it all too. Other friends don't need to know! |

Our friend's know we swing, they know its how we met, in fact....we've put friends onto this site and they love it....it doesn't mean they know any details.
If we couldnt be open amongst our friends, we wouldn't call them friends. |

I found fab because friends already on the site told me about it!
not the sort of thing Id discuss with anybody, I live in a small town and try to avoid being gossip fodder, but all my 'inner circle' know, as they are all of a similar mind set, eg, it might not be for them but they wouldn't think to judge me for not being the same as themselves.x  |

Same, it was an ex's friend that i found out about fab through......
Most people I know happen to know that I swing now, they don't get details but know I like and get multiple partners...work, friends of friends....I don't care...I spend my time as I choose to and I'm no more or less vocal about this part of my life than any. 99% of those who know don't care, and the ones who don't like it....well....tough tittys to them....may they gossip about me untill their hearts content bless them.
I'll never be ordinary in anything I do, I'm very used to being gossiped about....it's cute. |

Our friends know some have known for a while due to having profile on here. Also parents and close family members know what we do they don't like it that's their choice
We open so when we meet outdoors we can let people know where what and how long we will be

When I was first on here. I told a few select friends about the out of character adventures I got up to. Now I don't tell them.
I do have a couple of fab lady friends who I swap stories with over a coffee sometimes. |

Some of our friends know and most of those are okay about it....everyone is very curious about the lifestyle.....especially one girl in work who is very judgemental about everyone and everything who delights in likening me to a slut and a prostitute - even though I have pointed out to her that I do it for free |

The rest of the world would be horrified! I've told my two best mates but only for safety reasons; it's as well somebody knows where I'm going and with whom.
It's not something I'd discuss over dinner but if anybody asked I'd be up front.
My husband knows what I do but he doesn't want to hear about it or any details. If he wanted to know I'd tell him the truth. I don't believe that lying helps. I'm a very open and honest person but I'm also aware that there's a side to me that would lose me a lot of friends.
Good job that I have my fab friends coz we all need to vent off sometimes. I wish in many ways there were casual group meets, socials locally where we could just meet to chat without fear of something slipping out!
So, anyone want to join me for a drink at a pub on a regular, perhaps monthly, basis? |

Most of my mates know, a few work colleagues and I declared it on my security vetting...my parents think I "date" guys off t'interweb...it's my hobby - I don't put anyone down for following footie or crocheting but I realise a few folk might see it as a disgusting perversion, however I'm not going to lose any sleep over it  |

We got married very young been swinging many year,s none of our friend,s no about this side of our life they would never believe it and that,s the way we want to keep it. It,s good to talk to like minded people on these site,s. We are more happy than any of our friends who most have gone behind each other. Lost count how many have made a pass at me over the year,s and Paul as had it offered on a plat. We made a rule not friends we have stuck with it |

Some of my mates know and the rest would not be surprised as it's me. I know many would say that they wished they had the will to do it and go to swingers club but the social constraint is too great + being really alien to them.
I just wish I had more meets from here but I notice I have better luck outside. Funny enough a lot of it is either on the bus, at a bus station, local shops or on a bus. |

I'm very open in my personality anyway,as most of my friends know about my "fab antics" Ofcourse I never rave about personal sexual matters with whom..They love me for who I am & most are envious (i think)...;-)
I guess it's upto you. Ask yourself do you trust them do they value your friendship are you close enough..They maybe shocked some may not understand & that's when friendships break down through lack of understanding..that can be damaging...

Some know, I'm pretty open about it our lifestyle. Obviously I don't tell them exactly what goes on and definitely not who's involved. They ask a lot of question, a couple are a bit jealous lol
