Is it just me that's cagey over what I do for a living. It always surprised me when it's one of the first questions asked.
I'd answer if I was on a dating site, but I just don't see the relevance on here. |

No not just you. I may hint if I get talking to people for a good length of time but only two people know the actual job I do and where. |

Some people are interested to get to know you as well as just Fuck you. I ask what people do for a living And happy to tell them what I do. And most people hate me when I tell them. Well if they ever went to uni they do... |

I guess I'm more cagey because of the whole code of practice thing. |

I like to keep what I actually do as personal. Some took offence when I said that.
Now I just say I work nightshift, which is true, but then I add I'm a burglar . . . Some see it as it is, light hearted. Some don't.
I can't win lol |

In this crazy world life could get very difficult if people at work found out about seining lifestyle some employers might even object
Saying it's not a image they want at there company
I understand interest I ask for vague job description just so I can figure chances of accidental meetings
Ie if I was a vicar other was funeral director say high chance of meeting
We're say a butcher and vegetaterian vicar slightly less chance
If that makes sense

We are purely on fab to enjoy sexual encounters with like minded folk , and not in the slightest bit interested in what anyone does for a living .
However it often comes up in conversation upon meeting , and we have no problem saying what we do . After all , we are still people and its a logical conversation starter , but we don't divulge too much , nor quiz anyone .

"It's your right to divulge or withhold whatever info you want - no-one should be put out if you are reticent about personal stuff like that"
I don't give any personal information out at all. It's irrelevant for this site. I tend to lie instead of not answering, as saying nothing seems to get people's backs up. But I shouldn't have to lie, they should respect my wish for privacy. |

I am happy to say I am a teaching assistant, which is true, but I have been asked what is the name of the school I work in! That is definitely too much information to give out! I mean, why would they ask? Why does it even matter? |

I guess if you were into uniforms or something it could be relevant, or the whole sexy secretary thing. Bloody hate the whole "I'm a professional" thing though, I have absolutely no idea why that would be relevant. All it does is make us think you're a bit up yourself! |

There is no relevance on here, and I don't want everyone, on here or elsewhere, knowing what I do and where. Nothing to hide, just don't see why it matters |

We keep it vague, just like all our other personal details. Ultimately no matter how we dress it up we're meeting strangers from the net, I'd tell my kids to be very wary so we are too. |

"My bugbear is the 'where are you from/where do you live'. If I wanted people to know perhaps I'd have put it on my profile. "
I will tell people what sector I work in, but not job title and company! Similarly my profile says where I am from, it really irritates me being asked "where do you live in Wigan" as a first message! How exact do people need to know?! |

"I think if you're on here for the social side too then it is perfectly acceptable to get to know one another. It is just down to preference "
Agreed. It all depends on what you want from the site. if all youre after is quick one off meets then no it's irrelevant, however if you're meeting regularly or socially then it's part of getting to know someone. |

"Doesn't bother me, there's 10k people working where I work, there's no disrepute clause and the security service is aware of my lifestyle...I've also met people who work on the same site as me. It's just part of the convo as far as I'm concerned
I'm disappointed Scarlet may have lied to me when she told me she was the Duchess of Cambridge's personal dresser though "
You've seen me. I can't even dress myself! Gok Wan ran screaming when I asked for help.
I'm actually an astronaut. x |

I'm not surprised people ask, often they are on here while at work, and gotta admit work takes up most of peoples lives so they probably have nothing else to talk about. |
